They Do It To Me, Too, And I Am White. They’re Just Being Rude.

Rude and thoughtless. Get over it – and get over yourself.

“NY Times Reporter Accuses White Women Of Racism On City Sidewalks For Not Getting Out Of His Way…”

Greg Howard, the complainer. Everything that happens to him is racist.

Greg Howard, a writer for the Sunday Metropolitan Section, in a Wednesday essay titled Was That Racist?, said white women in particular will not make space for him when he’s walking down the street

He also added that there are times when he’s had to step off the sidewalk and into the road, making him ‘feel small’.

In seven years of living and walking here, I’ve found that most people walk courteously – but that white women, at least when I’m in their path, do not,’ Howard wrote.

‘Why only and specifically white women? Do they refuse to acknowledge me because they’ve been taught that they should fear black men, and that any acknowledgment of black men can invite danger?’”

Schumer: “Dems Are Lost. We’re Trying To Find Something We Can Sell To The Voters”

This is an interesting half-minute of video. Senator Schumer is on Steponallofus’ TV show explaining that his party doesn’t have anything to sell and are casting around for something – anything. He names a bunch of things including single-payer health care. When he says those two magic words, Stponallofus’ ears perk up. He never expected to hear that.

It’s sad, really, but gratifying to see the Senate Minority Leader completely without a plan of any kind.

One thing is sure. They are moving further left. Another is, they are doing nothing but yelling stuff at Donald Trump. I submit that they can’t agree on a platform because every meeting devolves into a shouting match about Trump.

Oh, Good. A List Of Demands From A Millennial

Just in case you wanted to know what it is that gets their Pampers in a twist, Inc. Magazine has posted a piece by a Millennial that tells you five things they don’t like about you and me.

“Millennial Writer Releases What Can Be Called A “Snowflake Manifesto””

For one thing, don’t interrupt our social networking

Many individuals in older generations think that Millennials are overly sensitive, but it may be the other way around. If Millennials are simply asking older generations to be respectful of others by using more inclusive language, and older generations respond with hostility–a common response to feeling threatened–perhaps older generations are dealing with an underlying fear of being unable to adapt to a changing world.”

He sounds impolite and uncaring about other’s thoughts. Childish, really.

Some Smart People Are Beginning To Come Around On Trump

Andrew Klavan, the novelist, has a piece out this morning in PJ Media titled, “Trump May Yet Become a Terrific President”.

In fact, it seems to me — a reluctant Trump voter — President The Donald has done a pretty darn good job so far. Rough-hewn, inexperienced and sometimes too much of a loudmouth for his own and the country’s good, he has nonetheless managed to increase American freedom and productivity while dragging us back from the brink of the Moribund European Socialist Please-Kill-Us-Mohammed anti-Western vision of the last guy who held the office.

Like all of us, I’ve watched Trump closely. He learns stuff. He gets smarter as he goes. At this late date, he’s probably not going to fix his personality flaws. Hell, at this late date, I may not fix mine either. But who cares? CNN can cover his gaffes till their ratings match their credibility at zero. If Trump can learn to do this one thing — shepherd the Congress from Big Talk Promise to Real Life Law — he will stand a chance of becoming a genuinely excellent president.

When he started out, I did not believe that was possible. If he pulls it off, it will be the best crow I ever ate.”

Also, Evan Sayet has a piece at Townhall titled, “He Fights”. He starts with a recounting of the condemnation of Donald Trump from progressives – both Democrats and Republicans:

My Leftist friends (as well as many ardent #NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum. They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.” Here’s my answer:

We Right-thinking people have tried dignity. There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency. We tried statesmanship. Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain? We tried propriety – has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney? And the results were always the same.”

Sayet gives a lot of examples of how the left has been constantly warring with the right while conservatives have been playing nice.

The problem is that, through these years, the Left has been the only side fighting this war. While the Left has been taking a knife to anyone who stands in their way, the Right has continued to act with dignity, collegiality and propriety.

With Donald Trump, this all has come to an end. Donald Trump is America’s first wartime president in the Culture War.”

A little history:

General George Patton was a vulgar-talking, son-of-a-bitch. In peacetime, this might have seen him stripped of rank. But, had Franklin Roosevelt applied the normal rules of decorum, then Hitler and the Socialists would barely be five decades into their thousand-year Reich.

Trump is fighting. And what’s particularly delicious is that, like Patton standing over the battlefield as his tanks obliterated Rommel’s, he’s shouting, “You magnificent bastards, I read your book!” That is just the icing on the cake, but it’s wonderful to see that not only is Trump fighting, he’s defeating the Left using their own tactics.”

Both are worth reading, especially if you are not a Trump supporter.

One Of The Smartest Things Team Trump Did Was To Remove TV Cameras From Briefing Room

It’s driving the press crazy and making the Press Secretary’s job easier.

“Departing White House press secretary says good riddance to press”

Sean Spicer, departing Press Secretary for President Trump

White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced his resignation Friday, but even with one foot out the door, he’s not through battling the press.

In an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity” Friday, host Sean Hannity invited Spicer, whose daily briefings became must-watch television due to his testy exchanges with reporters, to expound on his impression of the press in his six months on the job. Spicer obliged.

The majority of folks that are now in the briefing room that are going into journalism, they’re not there for the facts or the pursuit of the truth, rather they are trying to figure out, ‘How do I get on TV? How do I become a YouTube star?’ and that’s disappointing,” Spicer said.”

This Is Good News In The Fight To Defeat The Islamic State In Mosul

General James Mattis, our Secretary of Defense, told us the other day that we are winning and IS is losing. It looks like he was spot on. IS fighters are trying to run away from the battlefield Dressed as women.

I thought they wanted to die for Allah. Guess not. General Mattis promised to ‘Annihilate the enemy’. Guess these guys believed him.

Minneapolis Mayor Tries To Placate Muslims By Firing Police Chief

The city’s men object. They want the Mayor gone, too. Interestingly, we find there are men in Minneapolis.

The Mayor had to call the police chief back from vacation to fire her. A competent chief would have returned immediately to deal with the problems of a Muslim cop shooting an unarmed woman to death.

… And White Men Can’t Dance

“At Cal State, algebra is a civil rights issue”

Everything is a civil rights issue nowadays.

The next civil rights court battle for California higher education may be about algebra.

California State University is finalizing new system-wide math policies as part of an initiative to increase graduation rates and address equity gaps. But a recent move by CSU affecting students transferring from community colleges threatens to undermine community college efforts to do the same.

The culprit is Intermediate Algebra, a high-school level course of technical procedures that most college students will never use, either in college or in life.

About 80 percent of African Americans required to take more than one remedial class in math do not complete their math requirements within six years, compared to 67 percent of Hispanics and 61 percent of whites, according to the community college system’s student success scorecard. A recent estimate found that, among community college students, 50-60 percent of the racial disparity in degree completion is driven by decisions to place students in math remediation, according to an unpublished study by the RP Group.”

So, of course, the way to get more kids to graduate is to lower the requirements to graduate. Of course. Why didn’t I think of that?

He makes a great argument for ending abortion. This is the kind of morals our kids are being taught at University.

Jerry Coyne, a professor in the department of ecology and human evolution at the University of Chicago, recently posted a defense of killing disabled infants on his Why Evolution Is True blog:

If you are allowed to abort a fetus that has a severe genetic defect, microcephaly, spina bifida, or so on, then why aren’t you able to euthanize that same fetus just after it’s born?”

Home Secretary Amber Rudd is proposing to make possessing these deadly items illegal everywhere

Home Secretary Amber Rudd will today propose to make possessing them illegal everywhere, whether in public or at home.

A long list of dangerous weapons that glamorise violence will also be included in the total ban, putting them on the same legal footing as unlicensed firearms.

They include sword sticks, butterfly knives and blowpipes, as well as a range of martial arts weapons such as deathstars and handclaws.

Only people having the weapons for bonified ceremonial or religious reasons will be exempt from the ban.”

Jeh Johnson Tells Us Trump’s Border Policy Is Working

President Trump has made it clear that his goal is to reduce the amount of illegal immigration into this country. He talks of a wall but even before wall construction has started his border enforcement policies are having an effect.

Johnson voiced this as a complaint but it comes across as praise.

“Former DHS Sec Says Trump’s Rhetoric ‘Scared Off’ Illegal Immigrants”

Former Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson

Former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Thursday that President Donald Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric has caused the decrease in illegal immigration on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Johnson argued on CNN’s “New Day” that Trump’s tone toward illegal immigrants has made those in Central America and Mexico afraid to enter the U.S., and the people would rather stay in their home countries instead of risking an illegal entrance.”

Washington Pos Takes The Side Of Minneapolis Cop Who Killed Woman

“After Minneapolis officer in police shooting is named, Somali community braces for backlash”

Of course there will be a backlash. A trusted member of their community, one they celebrated, killed a woman for no reason. He was a cop, supposed to ‘Preserve and Protect’. Instead, he reached across his partner and shot her in cold blood.

Don Damond, right, fiance of Justine Damond, makes a statement to the media as his son Zach Damond, left, comforts him. (Craig Lassig/European Pressphoto Agency)

When Mohamed Noor joined the Minneapolis police force and was assigned to patrol the city’s southwest corner, the Somali community there — the nation’s largest — threw a party for him to celebrate.

Now that same Somali community is bracing for a backlash against Noor that has already begun.

On Monday, multiple media outlets named Noor as the officer who fatally shot an unarmed Australian woman in the city’s popular Fulton neighborhood over the weekend, an incident that has grabbed global attention and thrust Minneapolis into yet another uproar over police violence.

Already, hateful posts criticizing Islam and sharia law are filling social media in response to the police shooting. Several far-right blogs featured sensational headlines that blamed the officer’s ethnicity for the deadly use of force.”

Jon Gabriel Thinks The Media Is Out Of Step With The American People

Actually, what is happening is the media is trying to lead the people where they want us to go using lies and innuendo. In a piece at Ricochet, titled, “What Americans Care About vs. What the Media Cares About”, Gabriel quotes two polls. First there is this from Bloomberg:

It outlines what the people are worried about. Then there is this from the Media Research Center:

It shows that the media outlets spent almost all their efforts selling the Russia/Trump collusion theory. They really want to have us believe it. But we don’t.

The media is not out of step with Americans. Instead they are trying to sell us a pack of lies and we ain’t buying them.

“Jeff Sessions Announces Justice Department Will Increase Asset Forfeiture”

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), a consistent Republican advocate for reforming asset forfeiture laws, said in a statement to Reason Monday: “As Justice Thomas has previously said, there are serious constitutional concerns regarding modern civil asset forfeiture practices. The Department has an obligation to consider due process constraints in crafting its civil asset forfeiture policies.”

Lee was referring to conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ notable dissent in an asset forfeiture case this June. Thomas wrote that forfeiture operations “frequently target the poor and other groups least able to defend their interests in forfeiture proceedings.”

“Navy Unveils World’s First Active Laser Weapon In Persian Gulf”

The skipper in the video seems quite happy with the new weapon. And it costs about a dollar a shot to use it.

The LaWS, an acronym for Laser Weapons System, is not science fiction. It is not experimental. It is deployed on board the USS Ponce amphibious transport ship, ready to be fired at targets today and every day by Capt. Christopher Wells and his crew.

CNN was granted exclusive access to a live-fire test of the laser.

For the test, the USS Ponce crew launched the target — a drone aircraft. Immediately, the weapons team zeroed in.

“We don’t have to lead a target,” Hughes explained. “We’re doing that engagement at the speed of light so it really is a point and shoot — we see it, we focus on it, and we can negate that target.”

This Would Be Far, Far Better Than Passing Senate Healthcare Bill

Better because it makes a clean break with the failure that is Obamacare. It does away with every bad part of the ACA. It removes the individual mandate and it does away with the federal subsidy. The Exchanges that never worked because they were never meant to work would be gone. No longer can someone wait until he or she is sick before buying health insurance because the requirement that pre-existing conditions be covered would be gone as well. All of these things made insurance under Obamacare unnecessarily expensive and drove up the deductible to unaffordable levels.

Health insurance companies can sell insurance to individuals without having Washington bureaucrats looking over their shoulder.

This is what our Republican politicians promised us they would do. If they back away from full repeal we will make sure they pay for it at the ballot box.

“Trump, McConnell, Pence Call For Full, Clean Obamacare Repeal”

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called for the full, clean repeal of Obamacare in late-night statements Monday.

The statements were released after four Republican senators backed away from the repeal-and-replace bill, leaving McConnell unable to reach the 50 votes required to pass the Obamacare rewrite.”

The New Yorker Analyzes Trump’s Appeal

“How Trump Is Transforming Rural America”

The quote below comes from the article in the New Yorker. It is a quote from a sleight of hand magician who wrote a book for would-be illusionists. The writer of the article visited Grand Junction, Colorado and interviewed a lot of residents there, including the former magician. One line in the book on magic was the advice to keep your routines understandable. He believes that is a part of what has helped Donald Trump, the candidate, to cause so many Americans to support him. The article is long and includes a lot of quotes from local people.

“Remember that you will be performing for people of varying degrees of education, in varying degrees of sobriety, and your routines must be easily understood by all of them.”

“The Lies of Donald Trump’s Critics, and How They Shape His Many Personas”

An in-depth analysis of the false allegations and misleading claims made against the 45th President since his inauguration.

Broadly speaking, most of the falsehoods levelled against Trump fall into one or more of four categories, each of them drawing from and feeding into four public personas inhabited by the President.

They are:

Donald Trump: International Embarrassment
Trump the Tyrant
Donald Trump: Bully baby
Trump the Buffoon.

Some of these claims are downright fake, entirely fabricated by unreliable or dubious web sites and presented as satire, or otherwise blatantly false. But the rest — some of which have gained significant traction and credibility from otherwise serious people and organizations — provide a fascinating insight into the tactics and preoccupations of the broad anti-Trump movement known as “the Resistance,” whether they were created by critics of the President or merely shared by them.”

You’d Want To Get It Right, Wouldn’t You?

Judi McLeod at Canada Free Press has some advice for those who are investigating the Clintons:

“Writing Your Own ‘Suicide’ Note…Before They Write it For You”

Heads up to Charles Ortel, Mike Cernovich and other brave souls who keep digging for the truth about the Clinton Foundation: Make public your own suicide note before your never-to-be-proven killers get to register “SUICIDE” as the cause of your untimely death.

Send out your own ‘Suicide’ note first along the lines of: I (fill-in-the-blank) am researching the mysterious deaths of Seth Rich, John Ashe, Peter E. Smith, Klaus Eberwein and others. I would never choose suicide as the way out of life on earth.” It wouldn’t hurt to add, “nor am I the type to ever drop a barbell on my own neck.” “Ditto for wandering along alone on the streets of Washington, D.C., which should be one of the safest places to be out wandering, rather than the political quagmire it really is.”

Get it notarized, gentlemen, and never stop looking over your shoulders.”
