Yesterday at lunch I heard a bit of Rush. He was talking about the profound economic ignorance of the Congress. He said that he used to want to be known as the smartest man in America but now he doesn't think that is a high honor. What the hell good is it to be smartest in a crowd of morons? He said it said it is depressing.

I know how he feels. Huge mainstream media firms backed by millions of dollars can't be bothered to ask basic questions of Congress and Washington. It takes a couple of kids with a few hundred bucks to crack ACORN. Where the hell was the Washington Post? Where are Woodward and Bernstein? The media doesn't even ask hard questions anymore. Doing so would interfere with their time tongue slathering Barry's ass.

It is depressing. Nobody pays us to do this. In fact, we pay to do it. There is so much to say and so little time to say it. The world has gone nucking futs and there isn't enough hours in the day to document it all. It gets to me sometimes.
