President Obama wants to start a war of some kind in Syria. He has chosen to place the US on the side of the people killing Christians. His original plan was to order it on his personal authority.
He has decided to go to the Congress to get their approval. The Senate will go along with him. All indications right now, though, are that the House will not. With a divided Congress he doesn’t get his authorization.
The President then reverts to his original plan and attacks Assad’s troops in Syria without authorization and without the support of the rest of the world.
The Russians, the Irani’s, and others come to Assad’s defense.
Assad sends missiles containing Sarin gas into Israel, killing thousands. Remember they share a border. You could do it with mortar rounds.
With the assistance of his allies Assad widens the war and sinks an American ship or two.
That’s far enough. What do we do?
