What would Comrade Jesus do?

Yeah, we hear this a lot. To hear the left tell it, Christ was a statist who partnered with Caesar to pick the pockets of Jews in order to transfer the wealth to Roman supporters of the emperor.

Well, I am guessing that Martin Luther was a bit more informed and insightful as to the ways of Christ than is MSNBC contributor Victoria DeFrancesco Soto. Here is what Luther had to say when the peasantry demanded redistribution of the wealth.

For baptism does not make men free in body and property, but in soul; and the gospel does not make goods common, except in the case of those who, of their own free will, do what the apostles and disciples did in Acts 4 [:32–37]. They did not demand, as do our insane peasants in their raging, that the goods of others—of Pilate and Herod—should be common, but only their own goods. Our peasants, however, want to make the goods of other men common, and keep their own for themselves. Fine Christians they are! I think there is not a devil left in hell; they have all gone into the peasants. Their raving has gone beyond all measure.

  1. James says:

The Left uses Jesus at their convenience. And incorrectly at that.

Yes, and I believe between those two idiots, they don’t have enough brains to fill a cheerio hole.
The reverend needs to Occupy a jail cell. Anybody figure out what he is a reverend of, besides thievery and grafting?

You forgot frame-ups. He still owes millions to the cop he destroyed in the Tawana Bitchy case

Oh man, that is a very old case. Not as ancient as Teddy’s case, but pushing it.
In all honesty? I think the cop was probably taken care of by the “boys” though in the end. I’d have to look to see if that is different.
I’ve got a buddy that’s well aware of what used to happen there and escaped from the city before it got too bad. He was in the city housing projects as some type of manager. He spouts some very good stories about the depth of the corruption, very good stories.
