Iowa State University Hotel To Pull Gideon Bibles From Guest Rooms

Yep. Iowa. Can’t just ignore them if you don’t want to read them. They have to have them removed. This is an excellent example of the lack of diversity from the diversity cult. From WHO?:

If you open up the bedside drawer in a hotel room, you’ll likely find a bible. But starting on March 1, the Iowa State University’s Hotel Memorial Union will be removing these bibles from its guest rooms.

The decision came after a guest complained to the Freedom From Religion Foundation about the “unwelcome religious propaganda in the bedside table.”

“Personally I don’t think they’re really forcing anything on anybody,” said Iowa State University student Will Determan.

But the FFRF disagreed. According to its staff attorney, providing one religious text over another is an illegal endorsement by the state-run university.

The hotel plans on moving the bibles downstairs to the browsing library. While the library has limited hours, the hotel’s 24-hour front desk is able to unlock the room if a guest makes a request.”

Maybe hotels should be required to have at least 3 or 4 drawers in the rooms. Drawer 1 is reserved for the Bible. Drawer 2 reserved for the Tanakh. The 3rd drawer for the Koran. And for the athiest, drawer number 4.

    Drawer #4.

When I got to a hotel, I notice there are a hell of a lot more empty drawers than drawers with Bibles, Tanakh’s, or Korans. The Atheists damn near have a monopoly on hotel drawers. Why are they complaining?

Don’t let it bother you when they do things like this. They can’t help it.

    2 Corinthians 4:4

If the hotel had any balls they would just say No.

  4. James says:

My solution would have been to sell off the hotel to a private party.

  5. Testa Sterone says:

I have used the Gideon Bibles in the past when I traveled. However, since they started disappearing from hotels/motels several years ago already, I just bring my own now.

“Iowa State University’s Hotel Memorial Union” What is this is?
If it’s a state sponsored/owned hotel, then it’s open game. If it’s private property I’d tell them to piss up a rope. So, do they have porn channels you can rent? :)
    Enquiring minds…….
