Look What Was Found In Yanukovych’s Compound

There is nothing quite like attaining unimaginable wealth while a public servant in a poor country, is there? After all, governments are instituted among men for the purpose of enriching the nomenklatura.

Yanukovych and Putin wish to remind you that the uprising and protests are a Zionist/Nazi conspiracy.

    Musta been a nasty capitalist.

Now, we must all look at where Barry was before the low information voters put him in office and where he will be when (and if) we get him out of office. At least Slick Willy was a good old boy. If I’d known then what I know now I would have thrown his ass a lot harder out of The Red Lion down in Fayetteville Ar.

    • Erin Palette says:

I need to hear this story, Ray.

      • Ray Davies says:

Way back in the late 60s I went to School at the Univ of Ark, the same time and place as Slick Willy. The Red Lion was the only “private” club around with good music (Had live entertainment every night) and bring your own bottle they sold set ups). Most everyone in the area was a member of the place (locals, students etc) more upper class than redneck). Well, I was just out of the army and back in school so I was employed as the main bouncer. I’m sure we all know Billy boy so I’m sure he would be one of the trouble makers that I would have had to “escourt” ot the door. Ask me about it when we get together.

We all have it within ourselves to rationalize such behavior if we were in such a position of power. Replacing dictators does not work. There’s always more waiting in line. Rome went through about 82 emperors, about half were assassinated. Will the people of the Ukraine be smart enough to structure a new government with checks and balances and no concentration of power?

    • Uke says:

I hate to say it, but “smart enough” isn’t the only consideration, or even the biggest one.

Fact is, Russia will NOT allow Kiev to distance itself from Russia. Russia still and probably always will see Ukraine as its wayward, little brother. And it will not let its little brother wander away from it under any circumstances, even if it needs to resort to violence itself to rein in its little brother.

That, combined with the fact that there are a whole heap (20-25%) of ethnic Russians within Ukraine, and you’ve got a situation in which it is very hard–some might say impossible–to ever fully dissociate from Russian influence.
