Under the proposed Obamacare Medical System gazillions of dollars will be saved by way of a government bean counter weighing several factors that will determine which treatment is most cost-effective for the system on the whole, as opposed to what is best for the life of the patient being treated. People who engage in self-destructive habits and lifestyles can be expected to have the accoutrements that support their lifestyle to be heavily taxed. We have already seen taxes on tobacco products raised even higher. A new tax is being proposed on carbonated beverages and snack foods. People who are old when they get sick will get the Hospice Death Sentence as opposed to effective treatment because their lives are less meaningful to the government because they don’t represent a good return on tax dollars spent.

Since NOBODY has asked THIS question, let me be the first.

What about people who are HIV Positive? In MOST (not all) cases an individual lifestyle decision was the root cause (pun intended) of the terminal condition. AIDS has a FAR greater mortality rate (100%) over the various forms of Cancer the medical community deals with. Based on the reasoning put forth by our President, people suffering from HIV/AIDS should be given some pain killer and allowed to die as quickly as possible in order that they not be a strain on “The System”.

I hope that Nancy Pelosi will become engaged in this conversation by her constituents while she is enjoying her Summer Vacation. It will never happen. Too many of her supporters enjoy bending over for the Man. Will anyone in the media ask the question? Nah, they are too busy tossing Presidential Salad.
