Jumbotron Obama at the Berlin Wall

It turns out that Obama did show up in Berlin. He was there via the magic of intercontinental telecommunications and, in his speech to the masses, he pegged the meaning of the day perfectly. Like everything else in the modern world, today was about him. Here is Obama.

“Few would have foreseen … that a united Germany would be led by a woman from Brandenburg or that their American ally would be led by a man of African descent.”

I was wondering why discussion of the fall of the Berlin Wall didn’t focus more on Obama’s ascent to power and glory. Thankfully, Obama himself was there to correct it.

And not one word of Ronald Reagan.

Asshole.

Well, at least Hillary didn’t “sniped at” like a couple years ago. LOL This adminstration is just one big joke. They all seem to be in love with themselves.

    No Show B.O.

President Obama chose not to go to Berlin for a reason. Once again, he is signaling that his administration is in the process of turning its back on our erstwhile allies in Europe.

President Obama did not capably represent the interests of the United States of America during this anniversary celebration.

To represent the interests of the United States of America, the following points should have been cited:
    1. America was the voice that demanded that the wall come down and the gates be opened.
    2. American NEVER abandoned the freedom loving people trapped on the other side of the wall or the people in Berlin encircled.
    3. Freedom prevailed. The US was a might instrument in pursuing that freedom.

President Obama did not measure up to this relatively easy test. His remarks had glancing references to 2 and 3, but it is “all about him” so he couldn’t even acknowledge President Reagan. He doesn’t seem to understand that he stands on the shoulders of giants. This is a common theme, relating to his views on our founders, our courts and our society.

I’m telling you… he didn’t go because the defeat of his beloved communism was too emotional for him to bear publicly. He prerecorded a statement and with pravda style propaganda prowess, ignored a better man than himself, who actually helped to make it happpen.
