Admirer of Mao steps down

Another one bites the dust…

White House Communications Director Anita Dunn will step down by the end of November and be replaced by her deputy Dan Pfeiffer, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.

Dunn’s departure had been expected as she took the position on an interim basis earlier in the year.

Before joining the White House, Pfeiffer worked on Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and also for several Democratic senators.

Yeah, she is stepping down because… because… um… it was an interim position! Yeah, that’s the ticket. It was an interim position. She never planned to stay on. She was always going to leave. That Mao thing doesn’t have anything to do with it so please shut the fuck up about it, okay?
