Obama: Not so fast with Ft. Hood Investigation
November 14, 2009 11:10 am
Obama wants lawmakers to cool their jets.
President Obama on Saturday urged Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood rampage until federal law enforcement and military authorities have completed their probes into the shootings at the Texas Army post, which left 13 people dead.
On an eight-day Asia trip, Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to “resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater.” He said those who died on the nation’s largest Army post deserve justice, not political stagecraft.
“The stakes are far too high,” Obama said in a video and Internet address released by the White House while the president he was flying from Tokyo to Singapore, where Pacific Rim countries were meeting.
Major Hasan had been loudly advertising his enthusiasm for jihad against infidels for several years. It is going to take time for Obama’s administration to spin an obvious occurrence of domestic Islamic terrorism into a simple case of going postal.
The dictates of multiculturalism require Obama to convince Americans that, a man who called himself a “soldier of Allah” and screamed “Allahu Akbar” as he went about slaughtering infidels, was not a terrorist but a simple nut who snapped due to stress. Congressional investigations are likely to arrive at other conclusions and spoil the narrative they are carefully crafting. The Diversity Cult requires that we believe that multiculturalism makes us stronger, not at risk of becoming victims of jihad.
Speaking of the multi-culti-cult, here is an interesting question: Why was a man of Arab descent born in America dressed up like a Pushtoon?

To a multi-cultist, he is just a colorful individual celebrating diversity by wearing his traditional ethnic garb. “Isn’t it great to live in a multicultural community? Aren’t we so very cosmopolitan for saying so?” The problem is that the shalwar-kameez isn’t Arab attire. It is the attire of Pushtoons of Pakistan and Afghanistan. It makes no more sense for him to be dressed in that attire than it would for him to be seen wearing a kilt and waistcoat.
Well, that isn’t exactly right, is it? There is a situation in which Arabs have been known to wear the shalwar-kameez.
Had Maj. Hasan been of Pakistani or Afghan ancestry, it would have meant very little, but for an Arab-American to wear this attire was significant. No Arab male would ever want to be seen wearing this garb. Having said that, there is one particular group of Arabs who did embrace the garb of the Pushtoons. They were the “Afghan Arabs” who went to Afghanistan to wage jihad alongside al-Qaeda and the Taliban.
The question that needs to be asked is this: Where did Maj. Nidal Hasan, an American-born Arab, get a shalwar-kameez? Did Maj. Hasan visit the Pakistan-Afghan region or was he in touch with the Arab Afghans in the U.S. and Canada who wear the Pushtoon attire as a sign of solidarity with Osama bin Laden?
Give Obama enough time and he will conjure up a multi-culturally acceptable answer to that question . The Diversity Cult must be protected.

RD – I have to disagree. I have considerable… CONSIDERABLE… middle east credentails and those 7-day shitters and night gown look exactly like the 7-day shitters and night gown worn by a large and very smelly percentage of the male populace in every arab/turk/kurd middle eastern country I’ve been in. From Incirlik to Ali al-saleem to Misira, Oman and PSAB in Saudi.
I actually have a set of these complete with the 7-day shitters, night gown, and kufi that were given to me by a Jordanian buddy several years ago.
Men from all over the globe wear this same outfit at the Masjid on Friday. I converted to Islam for a few years when I was younger and trying to find myself. When I did eventually find me….turns out there was no religion at all.

Here is Code Pink on Hasan…
According to the Code Pink scrunts, Hasan was simply giving action to the voices of the officers of the United States Military.
Why are they even a factor?

The Senate obliges Obama’s request that he be given more time to spin the Fort Hood jihad into a simple case of going postal.
