Gaming the System

Of all the incredibly stupid things our government has been up to lately there is one thing I am grateful for. They have become so arrogant that they have stepped out of bounds so far that good and decent people have taken such offense to it as to now be considering the ways they may sacrifice their lives in the defense of our Liberties. Moreover, it isn’t just a few things of late they are pissed off about. Not only are people willing to defy new Laws, they are coming to the rightful understanding that the time is right to begin resisting ALL Laws that infringe on their Liberties regardless of when they were written.

Now that is worth celebrating. The demands of our public enemy have become so ridiculous that no self-respecting person would consider surrendering to them. Who would have thought that after all the machinations they have engaged in over the years in their efforts to seize power that they would become so incredibly stupid once they got there? Their arrogance is actually a gift to freedom loving Americans.

The House of Representatives has decided to criminalize the choice of not having healthcare insurance while rigging the game so that whatever healthcare insurance is available is not a good value. Failure to comply with the Law will result in a tax penalty and failure to pay the penalty will result in imprisonment of up to Five years, a fine of up to Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars or both. The Speaker of the House says such punitive measures are appropriate. The President went on to say that not only is it appropriate it is required to keep people from “gaming the system”.

The President sure said a mouthful there. He usually does. This week I watched a pregnant young lady pay for her cart full of groceries with Food Stamps and then load them into her Hummer H2 to take them home. When I worked at the Seafood Market I carried loads of Oysters, Crab, Fish and Shrimp to many expensive vehicles owned by our customers who were adorned in gold but paid for their seafood with gubment Food Stamps. There are a LOT of people who make gaming the system a way of life and they all have access to the best healthcare available. Actually they have access to the best of everything and they don’t have to work for any of it.

When it comes to “gaming the system”, who would know better more about that than our President? His associates in ACORN know how to do it well and he helped them do it. The President of SEIU is a regular visitor to the White House and there can be no doubt that there’s some gaming going on there. Most all of his constituency is people who have gamed the system all their lives strictly for personal gain at the expense of others.

I wonder where he gets the balls to accuse American Citizens exercizing their God given Rights as playing some kind of game. Well get this; to many of us that is exactly what it has become. It’s a stupid game and we don’t want to play anymore. When I say “We” I’m talking about the decent, law abiding citizens who carry the load for people who make their living “gaming the system”. The only game in town is being played with our lives and the lives of future generations and it’s a game that’s rigged to make losers of us all. It is within our Rights to refuse to play.

Everywhere I go and the subject of this new Healthcare Legislation becomes a topic of conversation, not a single person in the conversation speaks of complying with the Law. In fact many of them will make it a point to violate the Law should it come to pass the Senate. Trust me, there are plenty of Rednecks who are serious when they say; “They can take my ass to Prison, it ain’t like I’ve never been there. I’ll get my healthcare there, as well as my meals and a place to stay on the backs of the stupid motherfuckers who will be paying my bills”.

Of course that’s bar talk but there’s a whole lot of Truth to it. Going to Federal Prison would be a joke to me at this stage of my life. It’s a place to “get away from it all”. There’s no phone to answer, no bills to pay, no place you’ve got to be other than where you are. There’s plenty of exercise equipment, a healthy diet of regular meals you don’t have to pay for and plenty of time to catch up on your tan, reading or maybe write a book. I could go to Federal Prison for one year and get out looking ten years younger. I’ve seen plenty of people do it. I’ve actually seen people LOSE their grey hair in Prison, and I don’t mean because it fell out, it just wasn’t there anymore.

For me and millions of people like me, the penalty of a Federal Prison Sentence poses no real threat at all. The problem that we have is that actually submitting to such is an insult that we are not willing to peacefully endure. I fully intend to be non-compliant with Federal Law should the proposed Healthcare Legislation come to pass. Once I become an outlaw in that regard I will become an outlaw in ALL regards relating to restrictions of my Liberties. If the government is willing to consider me a criminal for exercising my God-given Rights, then I’m just going to become a criminal who violates ALL Laws in exercise of my God-given Rights. I won’t be going to Federal Prison for doing any of that either. Being deprived of my Liberty and treated like a criminal for exercising the freedoms I fought to preserve is not something I am willing to peacefully endure.

That’s my choice and there are many millions of Americans who feel the same way and will do more than just talk about it. In fact, we are pretty tired of talk. We’ve made our voices heard and that has been our way of letting the government know where their boundaries are. They can keep talking all they want to but the boundaries are what they are. I look forward to the opportunity to knocking those boundaries way back to where they should be and the stupid imbeciles in Washington D.C. are actually dumb enough to give us more reasons to do just that every single day.

For us it’s no big deal really and it’s totally THEIR call. The more they push the bigger the push-back becomes. With each passing day we become stronger, they become weaker and it shows. The day is coming when the only people who care about what the arrogant assholes in D.C. are saying are the arrogant assholes in D.C. We the People will be exercising REAL political power and this will become most apparent when anyone tries to direct us to do otherwise.
