“We are sending an armada” to the waters off Korea.

The Reagan and the Vinson were mentioned as leading the armada. This causes some confusion.

The US Navy has told Business Insider that the forward-based Reagan will be tied up for months with refittings and training exercises. In a perplexing mix-up, the USS Carl Vinson, which the US Navy said on April 8 would head to North Korea, was photographed 3,500 miles away in Indonesia on April 15.

South Korea’s conservative candidate for its May presidential election, Hong Joon-pyo, told The Wall Street Journal of the carrier mix-up: “What Mr. Trump said was very important for the national security of South Korea. If that was a lie, then during Trump’s term, South Korea will not trust whatever Trump says.”

On both the North Korean and US sides of the conflict, all talk of military action can likely be dismissed as bluster.

Fair winds and following seas to those aboard.

Side note, Vinson was the ship that gave Bin Laden the heave ho.

I get a little giggle out of the headlines while knowing that this may well be a bit of state sponsored BS to wave the flag… so to speak.

As soon as everyone thinks it’s all bluster, some dumbass kid will do something stupid to spark a larger conflict.

I saw this morning that we now have 1/3 of the US Navy headed to the Korean peninsula. I hope cooler heads prevail, but should it come to a fight, I hope we put that fat little bastard in his place quickly… And free the North Korean people.

I also hope cooler heads will prevail. Of course, my son is on the Reagan so the whole situation concerns me a lot.

Rich fat kid will not play nice. He will go down guns blazing and many of his brainwashed followers will as well. I worry he might just drop one on our Navy as they are positioning themselves.
