The problem with tapes…

…is that they become part of the public record and are discoverable.

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said he will “absolutely” subpoena recordings of conversations between President Trump and former FBI Director James Comey if they exist.

“Listen, I don’t have the foggiest whether there are tapes are not, but the fact that the president made allusions to that and then the White House would not confirm or deny, it is not anything we have seen in recent days,” Warner told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday.

Warner, who is leading the Senate’s investigation into Russia’s attempts to interfere in the United States presidential election along with Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), said that while another committee may need to subpoena the tapes, it is essential to make sure they don’t “mysteriously disappear.”

i know the 5D chess joke get thrown around a lot here, but i think this is a perfect example of trump owning the media. one little tweet and they have been on this story solid for almost a week.

its funny to watch them fall all over themselves chasing every little thing.

How is that to Trump’s advantage?

anytime you have “control” over an entity or set of entities, its to your advantage.

you screw that up though and it isn’t under his total control. its still hilarious to watch at times.

so what if there are tapes? i think people are missing the point on this.

With all due respect, every single time Trump steps on his dick out come the theories that “he meant to do that.”

Should there come a day that he is impeached, convicted and perp-walked into Leavenworth, I believe it will continue…

“You just aren’t seeing the big picture,” they will say. “Trump is dominating the news cycle and drawing attention away from his refusal to release his tax returns. This prison sentence is part of a long term strategy that people aren’t able to see. He is way ahead of everyone else.”

Hell, a few die hards would continue to tell us of the genius of Trump’s strategy even as he was led to the gallows.

i am only speaking about his particular tweet.

i think there are times when he is f*cking with people. i think this is one of them, or maybe he has tapes of comey saying something. either way, its funny.
