  1. Son of the Rabbit People says:

Why is Times Square under lock down if it absolutely wasn’t terrorism? Yeah, right.

  2. jOe says:

Depending on the age of car they should be able to pull data on whether or not the driver took his foot of accelerator or touch the brake.

  3. FrankinTexas says:

We will soon find out on page 83 of the New York Slimes that it was a right wing subversive named Adbullah Mohammed Smith who being not familiar with the automobile he was driving hit the gas instead of the brake. Nothing to see here so move along.

  4. Rich says:

From the Al Lou ah Snack Bar? Curious mind want to know. The reports I’ve read said he blew a zero on a breathalyzer. So, probably no drunk. On drugs? In a way I hope so. Because I’d sure hate to think he deliberately and while sober plowed people down for 3.5 NYC blocks. Tragic. Just tragic.

  5. notamobster says:

He was a dude from the Bronx, high as a kite on synthetic weed, K2. If they had legal weed, he’d have hit exactly zero people, driving 7 miles per hour.

    • R.D. Walker says:

How in the hell do you defend yourself against something like that?

      • notamobster says:

You can’t. There is nothing to be done, aside from avoiding groups, maybe?

That’s like a meteor strike. If it happens to you, you can’t stop it. You could avoid the outside world, but it wouldn’t do any good when the meteor shows up.

  6. Ray Davies says:

Stay the hell out of NYC. Too many people for this old country boy.

    • Sortahwitte says:

Zactly what I was thinking, Ray. I know most of the crazy people in my town by sight. When I see them coming, I climb a power pole. After our fiasco with American airlines last summer, I don’t go anywhere I can’t walk home from.
