Banker: “Ten Million Will March On Washington If They Impeach Trump. They Will Be Armed”

From Zero Hedge:

Sometime contributor Bon Scott who happens to be not only a Trump supporter but more importantly a Constitutional expert and Big “L” Libertarian had this to say in response the ‘Impeach Trump’ escalation.

“10,000,000 people will march on Washington if they try to impeach Trump… they will be heavily armed. I will be one of them. No kidding”

How bad do they want to impeach Donald Trump? Listen to Monica Crowley:

I pride myself on my intellectual objectivity & integrity. Sure, I have a few sacred cows, like everyone else, but I openly admit when I have an implicit bias.

This is not one of those times.

I can’t think of another circumstance where a major world leader had a more insane, completely-irrational, multi-pronged, sustained assault on their position.

Donald Trump is a dumbass, who brings much of it upon himself. You’ll never see/hear/read of me saying otherwise. He tweets, runs off at the mouth, and glad-hands everyone he comes into contact with, in regard to his positions.

He is asking for some of it.

The magnitude of the combined/concerted effort to destroy this man though, and everything he is associated with, is breathtaking in it’s enormity.

Obama had half of America against him, for 8 years.

George W Bush had half of America against him, in a hate-filled, 8 year orgy of leftist outage.

Our body politic began cannibalizing itself in about 1995. It got worse around 2003 (yay Iraq). It has only escalated since that time. The problem is, the other guys are infinitely more qualified at feigned indignation and more organized in their opposition.

They’ve been digging their trenches and fortifying their positions since the far left hijacked the Democrat party, academia, and the media, back in the 60’s… For this assault, it would seem.

Am I overstating by saying that this seems like the hill they’re planning to die on? See, Obama, Bush, Clinton, they all had their loyal opposition, but none of them had their own party, the administrative state, and the loyal opposition seeking their destruction.

I hope President Trump survives the onslaught, but the Outlook is rather grim at this point.

First off, there is no way that the Republican Congress is going to impeach Trump unless he orders a nuclear strike on the Alamo or, I dunno, gets caught Oval Office getting a hummer from Nancy Pelosi.

That said, if the Congress were to follow a procedure envisioned by the the Founders themselves and literally written into the constitution and people rose up over it, who would be on the wrong side of the Constitution then?

I will give you a hint: It wouldn’t be the US Military members dealing with them.

I agree in such a case. The Constitution is the final word on the law in this country. If Congress impeached him and the Senate ratified it, that is legally speaking, “the will of the people” and it should stand.

It’s like my view on war: Like the reason or not, the only legal requirement is a declaration by Congress. It then becomes the will of the people, to be executed by the President, as Commander in Chief.

      They are our elected representatives.
