“A significant person of interest…”

Six PM on Friday, that’s when the bombshells happen. I am guessing Jared Kushner.

Even as members of Congress were mulling over the expansion of the case into possible cover-up, and its reclassification from counterintelligence to criminal, the scandal appeared to grow. The Washington Post reported Friday afternoon that federal investigators were looking at a senior White House official as a “significant person of interest.” The article did not identify the official, though it noted that the person was “someone close to the president.”

A person of interest is someone law enforcement identifies as relevant to an investigation but who has not been charged or arrested.

Cover-ups have traditionally been a major part of investigations that have threatened previous administrations. Articles of impeachment levied against Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton included allegations of obstruction of justice, as they were suspected of trying to hide other wrongdoing.

“The Washington Pos reported” kind of negates any interest I have in this alleged news item. “Federal investigators” is the new “unnamed sources” since those unnamed sources ran out of cachet. I’m damned tired of innuendo being foisted on us as unmitigated truth. The stinking communists in the lamestream media can FOAD.

I agree with Frank! This is bullshit innuendo. A person of interest is anyone who police find has a compelling interest. It doesn’t mean they will EVER EVEN BE A SUSPECT.

It’s just more “throw shit against the wall” and hope something sticks… At the very least, people will get Trump fatigue, like I have.

I think the actual headline to the story was ” ….said someone close to the case” or something like that.

What was that thing RD said about the autism stuff? The current know info is that vaccines don’t cause autism. If you are going to challenge that you have to make the case and prove that they do. Well, it’s about to for some concrete varifiable evidence for something…anything.

Limbaugh has started saying this is a coup. That what it seems like. If trump hasn’t done anything wrong, I think they have pick the wrong guy to try and steam roll.

His personality might make him the one guy who could withstand such an unremitting assault. I don’t envy him, that’s for sure.
