A ‘Second Civil War’?

“Resist movement, violence are tearing America apart”

“Antifa, others terrorizing America”

The first skirmishes of a second American civil war have begun.

No, this is not a metaphorical analogy to that bloody conflict that killed approximately 620,000 Americans. It is an objective statement of the reality in America.”

  1. R.D. Walker says:

Over on Infowars Alex Jones said that yesterday saw the first shots fired in a new civil war.

I found that interesting because I am pretty sure it was the first shooting in history that Alex Jones didn’t say was a false flag operation.

  2. MadBrad says:

Yesterday a Marxist Revolutionary waged War against the United States.

Other Marxists will do the same.

They are at War with the U.S. Government because they cannot accept the outcome of our Election. They means that they are at War with us. Call it a Civil War, an Uncivil War or whatever you care to call it. It has officially begun.

    • R.D. Walker says:

I call it a nothing more than another day; another shooting in America.

This one, however, was a lot less effective than those that take place on any given summer evening south of I-55 in Chicago.

      • MadBrad says:

People on the South Side of Chicago do not pick their targets based on political considerations.

There are several things that make this shooting unique in American history. It was not just another shooting. The non-shooting fuck stain was simply doing what a LOT of his fellow travelers dream about doing (some of them training to do a better job of it right now) and we will see more of this. Yesterday was just the beginning.

        • R.D. Walker says:

Dylann Roof hated black people so he shot some in a church in South Carolina

Nidal Hasan hated infidels so he shot up Fort Hood.

Wade Michael Page killed Sikhs because he was a white supremacist and they weren’t white.

Omar Mateen killed 49 in the Pulse nightclub for his moon god and guilt over his repressed homosexuality.

Micah Xavier Johnson killed five cops because black lives matter.

Robert Lewis Dear shot up Planned Parenthood because he hated abortion.

Chris Harper-Mercer shot up a school and killed nine because, evidently, he was a virgin and black men get laid… or reasons.

Everybody who goes on a shooting spree has a reason. The shitstain yesterday is no different… except that he was less successful than any of those listed above. Just another day and another shooting.

          • Bman says:

Yep. No different than driving a van into a crowd of people.

          • MadBrad says:

Yes and NONE of the killings you list were motivated by the outcome of an election, nor were they directed against the government of the United States in an attempt to disrupt our system Law and Governance. In that fact we find that this is not just another shooting. It was an act of War.

            • R.D. Walker says:

Timothy McVeigh attacked the Federal Government for political reasons. No civil war started.

How was what happened yesterday different except for the fact that the shitstain yesterday got nobody killed except himself?

      • Rich says:

To call this just another shooting, is like calling the next muzzie attack just another incident. True, the individuals involved in such acts are directly responsible. But to look no further, as to motivation and genesis, ignores the growing prevalence of the cancers of islam and statism in fomenting such acts.

  3. C. L. says:

I think this guy, Hodgkinson, believed he was justified just as surely as Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton, Hancock, Washington, et. al. did when they challenged the British for their freedom. There are legion on the left who feel the same way. I don’t know why. I can’t figure it out. Where did we go wrong? These foolish people want to rise up and discard what our Founders fought for and gave to us. Their (ignorant twats – not founders) cause is not noble; it is evil. They are a bunch of fascist, socialist, Marxists who will end up with NOTHING if they follow their dream and cause and succeed. How can they not see that?

    • Bman says:

To coin a phrase, “everybody wants to rule the world.” They believe THEY will have the control. That’s why they can’t see it.

    • R.D. Walker says:

I don’t disagree but I don’t think this guy fired the shot-heard-’round-the-world for the start of a leftist uprising. That’s absurd.

      • C. L. says:

I don’t either, but I think the feeling is very strong on that side. They really believe, and they were all set to descend into more oppressive socialism, but Hillary did not win. They can’t accept it. It is driving them mad, with a lot of help from their heroes who keep inciting them.

        • R.D. Walker says:

I remember when the left tried to paint every American conservative as a Timothy McVeigh sympathizer. It was a damnable lie.

Maybe turnabout is fair play and they deserve a heaping helping of treatment they dished out.

That said, just among us chickens, we know that about 99 percent of left of center Americans condemn what happened yesterday.

          • C. L. says:

If I seriously thought that a second civil war was actually starting, the last thing I would be doing is talking about it here. I do think that all of the toxic leftist rhetoric is going to trigger a few more crazies to do stuff like this, though.

  4. C. L. says:

Apparently, this is all Sarah Palin’s fault now.

  5. MadBrad says:

    My last comment…

    Get fucking real.

Yesterday a Marxist opened fire on members of Congress. I don’t recall anything like that happening in my lifetime. It is NOT just another shooting.

It was an act of Terrorism directed against our government and the people of the United States. It was an act of WAR.

    Have a nice day.

    • R.D. Walker says:

“I donโ€™t recall anything like that happening in my lifetime.”

      Let me refresh your memory.

      • MadBrad says:

I’ll go ahead and let everybody know that my blood pressure has been up since this shooting happened yesterday. I had to declare my previous remark to be my last due to health reasons. I have let this event rob me of some of my joy. Though that is not a good thing there is a reason for it and everyone here knows why. It’s because I don’t see this as just another shooting, no different than any of the others that happen so frequently.

I was fully cognizant of what Jared Loughner did when I made the remark that you draw attention to. He was no more engaged in an attack against the United States than John Hinkley Junior was when he shot President Reagan.

James Hodgkinson was at War with the United States in the same way that Lee Harvey Oswald was at War against the United States. Lee Harvey Oswald had a less shitty rifle and some very good marksmanship instruction. They shared a common ideology though and that is what motivated them to wage War against the United States.

Hodgkinson sought out an opportunity where he would find a group of the people he wanted to “bring an end to” in a place where they would be most vulnerable and where he could engage them with his weapon with the intention of killing them all. The people he wanted to bring an end to were duly elected representatives of the people of their districts, among others. Shit stain chose to attempt to over ride their votes by use of force. He decided that he would assert himself upon the people of the United States by use of one of the shittiest rifles ever made.

An attempted mass casualty attack against a portion of a specific legislative body here in the United States by a Marxist Revolutionary has never happened in my lifetime and I am not aware of it having ever happened before in our history, so yeah, that’s what makes this a whole lot different than any other shooting in our history.

Yes, McVeigh was at War against the United States when he carried out his attack. On the day of that attack when everybody in my office was saying “Fucking Ragheads” (yes, even way back then) I was saying “Nope, an American did this”. Yesterday when people in my office started talking about ISIS and saying how they couldn’t wait to hear the name of the gunman I said “He won’t have a foreign name”. Everyone looked at me wide-eyed and I said “ISIS doesn’t care if you are a Republican or Democrat”. The difference between McVeigh and Hodgkinson is that McVeigh was a White Supremacist Terrorist and Hodgkinson was a Communist Terrorist. McVeigh used force against Law Enforcement and Hodgkinson used force against his political enemies and by extension, the people who elected them.

You can listen to all the Bullshit you want to but James Hodgkinson is a Hero to a lot of people today and he has inspired his fellow Revolutionaries. This is how they wage War. It always comes down to this. There will be more of this. When you decide to start calling it War is up to you but it’s the same War Lee Harvey Oswald was waging. It’s been going on a while now. We are just in a new phase of it. This is Communist Revolution and this shooting represents an act of War.

        • R.D. Walker says:

Sirhan Sirhan assassinated a sitting US Senator in 1968: Robert Kennedy. Sirhan wasn’t a Marxist and he wasn’t a Muslim. He was an America hater, however.

The Weather Underground were Marxists who set off a bomb in the Pentagon in the 70s. They planned to bomb the office of a US Senator and engage in mass murder at Fort Dix but blew themselves up by accident.

Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) left-wing revolutionary organization that engaged in murder in the US.

May 19th Communist Organization was active in the US in the 1980s. They set off a bomb in the Senate in 1983. They planned to do a lot more before they were busted.

There is nothing new under the sun.

          • MadBrad says:

3 out of the four examples you provide further explains how we are in an ongoing War with James Hodgkinson’s comrades. They all waged War against the United States. Maybe a big difference between then and now is how their objectives are also being pursued by force of Law by a good many people in the House and Senate, the Judiciary and throughout the organs of the Federal Government itself.

I suppose now is a good time to say “Many cry Peace, Peace but there is no Peace. The War is already begun”.

            • R.D. Walker says:

Another big difference is that three of those from the 70s and 80s were organized movements, planning, working together… not a single shitstain with an SKS from East St. Louis, IL.

              • C. L. says:

Going from East St. Louis to Belleville is almost the equivalent of going from North to South Korea. East St. Louis could only be improved by using nukes, IMHO.

    • Rich says:

It was an act of assignation. Terrorism too I guess. All the Rs on this asshat’s list were members of the Freedom Caucus. It was NOT random. It was planned. It was an assignation attempt. And but for his shitty shooting, and the bravery of a few Capitol Police, it would have been a slaughter.

      • C. L. says:

“And but for his shitty shooting, . . .”

        Thank God for poor Marxmanship.

      • MadBrad says:

When you choose the shittiest of Rifles, the shittiest of results are bound to follow. More than likely he chose a shitty Rifle because his fellow shitheads recommended it.

      • Jim22 says:

Glenn Beck gave credit to a miracle. He thought there was intervention. Who am I to argue?

  6. Jim22 says:

Hodgkinson was not a nut. He believed himself to be a warrior for the left. He scouted the baseball practice for nearly a month, planning. The day he chose was his last chance because it was a practice for the game the next day. We will find that he either expected no resistance or he noted that the resistance he’d encounter was insignificant. Two people, a man and a woman. No more armed people there.

They carried pistols and he had a rifle. He thought his chances were excellent that he would kill everyone there. Remember, he did shoot at the police first.

But he was poorly trained and the police were well trained. He had a lot of trouble hitting short-range targets. They had little trouble hitting him even though the cop who did it had been shot.

He believed he could kill roughly ten percent of the Congressional Republicans. Had the wounded cop not fought through the injury and stay in the fight long enough to take down the perp he would have succeeded. That was a good enough wager for Hodgkinson. He did not have the odds 100% but the prospective gain made the risk worthwhile. Had he not encountered a true hero – a real good man with a gun – He would have gotten away with it and would be alive today.
