Some Answers Are Beginning To Materialize

Two questions have presented themselves to me in the last couple of years. First, a few years ago Congressman from south Florida, retired Lieutenant Colonel Allen West, lost his job because his Congressional district was eliminated due to redistricting. West, a Republican, and a no-BS swamp drainer was eliminated by the act of a Republican Governor. The Governor had responsibility and authority to do the redistricting. It doesn’t make much sense for a Republican Governor to eliminate a Republican Congressman. It made me wonder.

The second has to do with the hiring of Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate the possibility of wrong-doings by President Trump. The first question was ‘Who hired Mueller?’. Mueller was hired by Deouty Attorney General Robert Rosenstein. From the New York Times, May 17, 2017, there is this:

The decision by the deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein, came after a cascade of damaging developments for Mr. Trump in recent days, including his abrupt dismissal of the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, and the subsequent disclosure that Mr. Trump asked Mr. Comey to drop the investigation of his former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn.

Mr. Rosenstein had been under escalating pressure from Democrats, and even some Republicans, to appoint a special counsel after he wrote a memo that the White House initially cited as the rationale for Mr. Comey’s dismissal.”

Again, the question arises, Why were Republicans asking for a special counsel?

This morning Rush Limbaugh answered both questions when he reported that there are Republicans who are willing to help with the efforts to impeach and remove President Trump because they are closely allied with Bureau heads and other members of ‘The Swamp’. You may recall that Trump promised to drain said swamp and many became alarmed when he began to methodically fulfill his campaign promises.

You see, swamp drainers are not welcome by the establishment. That establishment is saying they believe they can work with a President named Pence. Pence is a long-time politician. Trump is not and West was not.

The fundamental reason so many faux Republicans, aka Republicans In Name Only, aka Campaign Conservatives, who actually are Democrats, win the primary election and then the general is because not enough conservatives will do the few hours every year to fill a precinct committeeman slot where they live.

And continue to not be interested in such mundane things because they will “let George do it.” (Hint: George ain’t gonna do it.)

Go here for a start (you’ll see that the leftists are beginning to figure this out):

We are now seeing “The Attack of the Swamp Monster”.

I understand that Mueller and Comey are long time BFFs – social gatherings, family gatherings, vacations, etc. Independent investigation? I think not.

And yes, CW. You are correct.
