The Huffington Post has announced that they are taking a trip around the United States to try to ‘Listen to Americans’. They will not be carrying elephant guns and using porters to carry their survival supplies. They are travelling by bus. Lydia Polgreen, Puff Ho’s Editor in chief has planned this visit to the wilds of middle America.
They don’t want any chance encounters with the wildlife so they have decided ahead of time on their itinerary. They will be stopping at 23 cities, no towns, and no villages. The cities are,
LITTLE ROCK, ARK.
FT. BENNING, GA.
FT. WAYNE, IND.
DES MOINES, IOWA
And Ms. Polgreen has decreed who they will deign to visit with:
We will travel the old-fashioned way — via bus — to 20-plus states to hear from some of the under-heard, diverse Americans who make up the communities that form much of our nation. And by working on the ground with community leaders, nonprofits, educational institutions, local businesses and others, we’ll make sure people know we’re there to listen.”
We hope the people who get seats on the bus actually learn something but it seems it would be better if they spoke to farmers, blue collar workers, moms and dads, and others who might explain to them how Donald Trump managed to get elected.
