I don’t know that we can say we made it ten years but we do know it is the 10th anniversary of that first post. πŸ™‚

    Well, Happy Anti-Climactic 10th Anniversary!

There are so many discussion-worthy things going on in the news these days. It’s a damned shame to not be discussing them.

I’m fairly certain I stumbled onto this blog within that first year, even though it took 9 years for me to submit my first comment. I remember coming here early on, because it was about that time, 10 years ago, when I first started looking for a place to live out in the boonies. I did not find a good match for us until the fall of 2009. We moved out here in January of 2015 and lived here for a year without TV, internet, or 24-hour electricity.

January, 2016 was when I first started commenting here. I was very hesitant, because I did not feel I could add anything to your conversations. The boredom of a UP winter deep in the woods may have contributed to making that first comment. So, it was cabin fever that caused me to finally barge in on you guys.

I’m glad I did. I’ve loved it here. You guys are awesome. You always treated me with great respect. That mutual respect was more important to me than you know.

It would bring great joy to me to be able to say here’s to the next decade of The Real Revo and mean it. I don’t want you to chain yourselves to your computers again for another 10, now that other things in life have risen in importance, but I would not feel bad at all if you did.

Oh, and thanks a million for letting me indulge myself in the short-lived Revo Republic. I’m glad people took an interest in what little I had to offer there.

Well, I for one am very glad you guys started this website. Thank you for that. I learned a lot from everyone here, especially RD.

10 years, a lot of fun and some very good friends. My life has truly been enriched in ways money could never achieve just by hanging out here. That is worth celebrating.

BTW… I expect to have a Pro Wrestling show up on the worldwide web by this weekend! Hopefully we will be able to see it here.

The people who inhabited this space are like Russian brides: I never thought I could love so much, someone I met on the internet…

Echoing all the above sentiments RD. A 10th Anniv. of 1st post is bittersweet. And I know I repeat myself, but The Revo has, ever since I found it, been a home away from home to me. It was an island of sanity in an increasingly insane world. It is so, so sad to think that one day I’ll try and click on the Revo bookmark and it will return some sort of error message about the site no longer existing. (Ugh) Just typing that sent a shiver up my spine.
