Today is an important day for our Nation
December 15, 2009I’ve got to admit that even I am a bit edgy about today. Starting at 1:30 this afternoon speakers and protestors will rally on the Capitol Building for for “Code Red” Rally. Though several subjects will be discussed the focus of the protest is to loudly and effectively voice dissent to any of the proposed government healthcare legislation now being considered by the Senate.
The September 12th Rally was an effective demonstration of public will. The “House Call” several weeks back was impressive as well, though it was ineffective at stopping this criminal legislation that has now been passed to the Senate. The Code Red Rally is the latest effort to stop this crime before it happens. It will be interesting to see what the crowd is like.
I say that because, like the House Call this rally has been called for on very short notice. Furthermore it is only ten days until Christmas. Most Americans are consumed with how they will be able to make everybody in their family happy with the mostly useless junk all their expendable income can afford. In my case going to D.C. or buying Christmas gifts isn’t something I have to concern myself with this year. I know that there are millions of Americans just like me.
I wonder how many people are going to be at the Code Red Rally today. I wish I could be there. I’ll do my part and I’ll shout the message with whatever means I am given. As time passes fewer and fewer people will have the means to rally in Washington D.C. unless the Park Service lets us pitch tents on the National Mall. At least Amtrack will be dropping us off right at the Campground. Ah, the marvels of green transportation.

I had hoped to attend the Code Red Rally, but today my son is in his first Christmas school play. My goal would have been to get one of the speakers to implore the audience members to become precinct committeemen in the Republican Party. I believe the effect of the Code Red Rally will be essentially nil UNLESS someone there tells the crowd something along the lines of what I posted at the link below:

Here’s what I posted there:
This Code Red rally will have far more impact if one or more of the speakers explain to the American people that the BEST way to strike FEAR into the incumbent congresscritters who are violating their oaths of office is by becoming a Republican Party precinct committeemen — because precinct committeemen ARE the Party; only they vote to endorse candidates in the primary elections and only they elect the leadership of the Party. The Republican Party is at HALF STRENGTH! HALF the PC slots are vacant. It’s easy to become one. Conservatives need to INVADE and TAKE BACK the Party from the RINOs and make sure better, more conservative candidates win the primary elections in 2010. Conservatives can accomplish that by becoming precinct committeemen. NOW. Back up your protests with REAL POLITICAL ACTION. Go here to learn more:

I had hoped to assemble a group to "crash" the thing with signs that are similar to the one I've used at Tea Parties and make sure Fox News and the Lame Stream Media "reporters" interview one of our folks. But, I don't know anyone in DC any more. I tried to get the folks at ResistNet.com to assemble some of their members in the DC area do it. Nobody volunteered.
Go here to see my sign in action.

That day, I was interviewed by a reporter from the Arizona Republic. But because I decided to remain anonymous, he did not mention me in the story he wrote. However, because I filmed him with my Flip video camera while interviewing the guy standing next to me, he accurately reported what the guy had told him during the interview. (Whenever I speak to or see the media, I film THEM.)
If we could have gotten a few people in DC to go to this rally with signs like mine, assuming no one will actually speak about, from the podium, about the need to get involved in the real political ball game — party politics — as a Republican Party precinct committeeman, then, then we could at least have tried to get the message out through Fox and the Lame Stream media using guerilla marketing as described. We could have also handed out flyers with the information on it, similar to the one I use.
Looks like we lost this opportunity. There may be more rallies like this. Do you think we could mount an effort as described above next time? As mentioned, I don't know anyone in the DC area, but there are groups that might be able to mobilize their members to accomplish something like this (TeamSarah.org, the various Tea Party and 912 groups, etc.).
I also joined Laura Ingraham's premium services to send her and her staff this idea by e-mail. Repeatedly. No response.
Thank you,

American first, conservative second, Republican precinct committeeman BY NECESSITY!
