VJ Brad is wrappin up this tragic weekend with one of his personal favorites from the 80′s

Myself and several of the guys from the Company I served with during my time in the Army rented a barn on a farm just outside the city limit of Fayetteville, North Carolina, just southeast of the airport. There we all worked on our bikes, rebuilt engines, made some Nitrous Oxide powered land rockets we built from the chasis up. My mechanical project was rebuilding the engine in a 1960 Chevy Apache Pickup Truck, complete with stake side cattle boards and bullet holes. I got it from a used car lot on Yadkin Road for Five Hundred Bucks. I spent Fifteen Hundred Dollars rebuilding the engine well beyond factory specifications.

We were subject to partying hard on the weekends we spent living in the barn. We poached wildlife, cooked it on a spit over an open fire, drank too much and committed vile sex acts with the locals who had nothing better to do. The ultimate night of sin occurred when a local band set up across the street from us, had too much Jack Daniels on hand and invited us over. I saw things that night that have forever scarred my retinas.

This was our favorite musical choice while turning wrenches…
