Feds Perform Sting Operation on… The Amish?

From the Washington Times:

A yearlong sting operation, including aliases, a 5 a.m. surprise inspection and surreptitious purchases from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania, culminated in the federal government announcing this week that it has gone to court to stop Rainbow Acres Farm from selling its contraband to willing customers in the Washington area.

The product in question: unpasteurized milk.”

What’s next, fruit and vegetable stands? Our federal government won’t control the flood of illegal aliens across our borders. It can’t handle the influx of illegal drugs from other countries, the… oh, don’t let me get started. The list is too long.

Instead they decide to go after farmers for selling raw milk. There is an entire group of people who believe that unpasteurized milk is healthier than pasteurized. According to the article there are as many as ten million people in the United States who prefer it.

Nowhere in the story does it present even one instance of a person getting sick from this milk.

It would be interesting to learn if the farm’s owner, Dan Allgyer, is a contributor to Republican political candidates.

My relatives were dairy farmers. I never got sick drinking raw milk. Humans have drank raw milk since the dawn of time and of course since birth.

I would bet the local dairy council and other milk producers are pulling the strings. Of course just like the police who prefer revenue collection over crime fighting, our govt. finds it’s easier too.

It’s obvious that Rainbow Acres Farm is just an anagram for “A Scare Bowfin Ram”, which as we all know is code for Al Quaeda infiltration of the brutal underworld of the Amish. If this raw milk had been packaged and drunk by nuns, orphans, and small kittens, who knows the devastation that it might have caused.

  3. R.D. Walker says:

Clearly the Feds are concerned that the Amish are introducing foreign substances into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That’s the way your hard-core Amish works to undermine the authority of the Central Bureaucracy. It must be controlled or the Amish menace will continue to grow.

It took them a year to get enough evidence to raid the Amish?

I hear they have high tech intelligence counter-measures like candle light reading time and noise-dampening haystacks.

What a waste of time and money. I expect nothing less from the leviathin.

Here it comes. They jump on some of the first people to originally say: Leave me alone!

I started on raw milk and I still drink it. In my state, it’s harder to get than any illegal uncontrolled drug. yeah government.

    Is mothers milk homogenized?

  7. RJ says:

First part of control of production of small farmers, ya cant sell food without govt mandated approval,

control media..internet off switch “strictly for emergency”

Almish milk sales, farmers markets/trade days

You control information, food, Transportation (TSA) high speed rail etc..means of production…declare via mandates that you dont have to fire your czar cause you are above congress, dump obviously fraudulent documents on the public to keep idiots following you, promise more handouts, declare yourself king…

I laughed so hard, unpasteurized milk flew out of my nose.

Seriously ridiculous story. Not only are Fed priorities NOT straight, this shouldn’t even BE a priority in the first place (to state the obvious). Here be Bizarro World.
