Support him or not, Mitt Romney is a good man

“In July 1996, the 14-year-old daughter of Robert Gay, a partner at Bain Capital, had disappeared,” the story reads. “She had attended a rave party in New York City and gotten high on ecstasy. Three days later, her distraught father had no idea where she was. Romney took immediate action. He closed down the entire firm and asked all 30 partners and employees to fly to New York to help find Gay’s daughter. Romney set up a command center at the LaGuardia Marriott and hired a private detective firm to assist with the search. He established a toll-free number for tips, coordinating the effort with the NYPD, and went through his Rolodex and called everyone Bain did business with in New York and asked them to help find his friend’s missing daughter. Romney’s accountants at Price Waterhouse Cooper put up posters on street poles, while cashiers at a pharmacy owned by Bain put fliers in the bag of every shopper. Romney and the other Bain employees scoured every part of New York and talked with everyone they could – prostitutes, drug addicts – anyone.

This, of course, is no reason to vote for him. Character is way down on my list of important presidential criteria. I vote for policies, not people.

Still, this is a pretty decent thing.

Oh hell yeah. I heard about this one. I’ve never doubted that he’s a good man. I don’t think there is anybody I know who would say otherwise.

So Romney is a man of action.
Hopefully there was a skeleton staff for the firm’s clients.

That a 14 year old girl was at a rave party is troubling. MDMA binds with dopamine producing hydrogen peroxide, which damages axons. It’s a neurotoxin that permanently impairs cognitive skills. Kids are so stupid.

James, you should write about some of these things you bring up(MDMA, etc).

You have so much more to contribute.

    Why don’t you?

  4. James says:

I’m not a doctor. But I do know MDMA causes vesicles storing serotonin to flush into the synapses. This is what causes the euphoria. The chemical reaction constant to bond serotonin to the axon is higher than that for dopamine. Eventually monoamine oxidase breaks down the serotonin. With no nearby serotonin, dopamine mistakenly enters the serotonin transporters and gets taken to the serotonin axon, where it reacts to produce hydrogen peroxide, destroying the axon.

The kids in these raves also die from dehydration and overheating. MDMA raises body temp, causes sweating, because it’s a stimulant. Great for an all night confined dance hall.

SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) also cause memory loss. There is evidence anti-depressents cause long term brain damage to serotonin axons. Anti-depressents will not solve your problems. They impair your ability to solve problems. You have a hard time remembering what you just did.

Hummm capitalist and humanitarian…works for me.
