    This explains why we fiscal conservatives have problems understanding the increasing debt. We view debt as a problem to be solved. The progressive left views debt and fiscal collapse as a casualty that must be paid to achieve their real goal of “equality” and state control.

    We fiscal conservatives don’t understand the constraints under which leftist ideology operates. We assume they are the same as ours, but they are not.

    Ben Shapiro is quite intelligent. I first read some of his writings about 5 years ago when he had just graduated Harvard Law school at the age of 23
