When Obama speaks, he lies

Here is the Pusher talking to the junkies yesterday at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

THE PRESIDENT: One Republican congresswoman said just recently — I’m going to quote this because I know you guys will think I’m making it up — (laughter).

AUDIENCE MEMBER: We trust you. (Laughter.)

THE PRESIDENT: No, no, no. She said she had “very little tolerance for people who tell me they graduate with debt because there’s no reason for that.”

THE PRESIDENT: I’m just quoting here. I’m just quoting. She said, students who rack up student loan debt are just sitting on their butts, having opportunity “dumped in your lap.”

THE PRESIDENT: I mean, I’m reading it here, so I didn’t
make this up. Now, can you imagine saying something like that?

If this man is talking, he is lying. How is it that this man’s pants are not on fire?

Here is what Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) actually said.

“I have very little tolerance for people who tell me that they graduate with $200,000 of debt or even $80,000 of debt because there’s no reason for that…”

That statement isn’t even in the same universe as what Obama attributed to her. If he is speaking, he is lying.

  1. Roy Ryder says:

Obama is such a loser he can’t compete unless it’s against imaginary people saying imaginary things. Unfortunately, liberals have spent so long in their own imaginary worlds that they buy into it.

  2. R.D. Walker says:

    More damnable lies.

At the University of Iowa, Obama said, “You’ve got one member of Congress who compared these student loans — I’m not kidding here — to a ‘stage-three cancer of socialism,’”

Though Obama did not name him, that was a reference to a comment from Akin in a debate with the Republican senate candidates Saturday. Asked about the student loan issue, Akin slammed the government for taking over college loans in a 2009 bill.

“America has got the equivalent of stage 3 cancer of socialism because the federal government is tampering in all kinds of stuff it has no businesses tampering in,” he said.

In a statement, Akin objected to Obama’s paraphrase.

“With all due respect, the President misquoted me. I was not saying that student loans are a cancer. I referred to the policies where there is a government takeover of private industries,” he said.

  3. Uke says:

How can he get away with such outright and baldfaced lies?

Why, a complicit MSM, of course! See, news media would have been all over shit like this a few decades ago. Now? Pffth… they are just a useful ally in the campaign strategy.
