Obama’s Bomb Making Buddy Calls America A Terrorist State
April 21, 2008It turns out that Barack Obama’s friend Bill Ayers has a blog site. You are going to have to Google it up if you want to wade into the America hating rhetoric because I am not going to send the site any traffic.
Here is a representative sample from April 6 of this year.
Terrorism—according to both official U.S. policy and the U.N.—is the use or threat of random violence to intimidate, frighten, or coerce a population toward some political end. This means, of course, that terrorism is not the exclusive province of a cult, a religious sect, or a group of fanatics. It can be any of these, but it can also be—and often is—executed by governments and states. A bombing in a café in Israel is terrorism, and an Israeli assault on a neighborhood in Gaza is terrorism; the September 11 attacks were acts of terrorism, and the U.S. bombings in Viet Nam for a decade were acts of terrorism. Terrorism is never justifiable, even in a just cause—the Union fight in the 1860’s was just, for example, but Shernan’s [sic] March to the Sea was indefensible terror. I’ve never advocated terrorism, never participated in it, never defended it. The U.S. government, by contrast, does it routinely and defends the use of it in its own cause consistently.
The bomb maker who states that he doesn’t regret detonating bombs in the Pentagon and a police station denies he is a terrorist. Yet he claims America is. Okay, so be it. If terrorism is broadly defined as acts of violence that cause terror, all governments use terrorism at some point. Then the question must become, “How is the terror employed?” Is it used on the battlefield in conventional acts of warfare? Is it used against national enemies as authorized by the representatives of a free people? Or is it employed in the manner of Ayers and the Weathermen?
Ayers and his fellow radicals conducted terrorist attacks against their fellow Americans under no authority but their own. They manufactured bombs to kill people who were working at the behest of a freely elected government. Ayers had other means to resist the war and the government but chose violence and terror. He wasn’t without recourse. He chose to attempt murder because he wanted to. His desire to kill to reach a political end is his only justification.
Obama has an interesting group of friends. How many anti-American bomb makers do you count among your friends? If it turned out that one of your friends had, in fact, built bombs with his own hands to kill his fellow Americans and stated he didn’t regret it, would you still consider him a friend?
Me neither.
Obama is different.

Great post, I agree with your points. For some reason, Obama doesn’t think it necessary to explain his group of “friends” which seems to contain a large contingent of active anti-Americans, bent on radical “change” for the country. He is revealing himself as a left-wing borderline anti-American who does not believe in the greatness of America or Americans.

Do we really want a president who doesn’t believe in American exceptionalism?

This terrorist isn’t just some “English professor who lives in the neighborhood” as Barack describes him. Barack’s first (I believe) organized fund-raiser was held in this terrorist’s home.
To this day, this terrorist goes on and on in Noam Chomsky-esque drivel, designed to pollute the minds of our youth. He has a right to say whatever he wants to, and Barack has a right to his friends, but we have the right to call them what they are: America-hating terrorists, racists, bigots, Marxists and all around filthy malcontents.

Barry Obama and his radical/Mob buddies are a true threat to this republic. One can only pray that the American people are not near so idiotic as they’ve seemed up until now. I do wish there were some authentic, reliable alternative (McCain?? laugh). But here I go again… pulling the lever to vote against the bigger threat to my liberties and lives of my children. Obama must NOT win.
