Obama Is Campaigning Against Success

Hope n’ Change cartoons:

Frankly, Barack Obama’s ads attacking Mitt Romney sound almost identical to the ads which support Mitt Romney – the most significant difference being that Obama’s team plays the theme from “The Exorcist” under Romney’s long list of accomplishments.

Seriously, look at the things Romney is being accused of: having earned significant wealth, making businesses more efficient (including downsizing when necessary – a concept utterly foreign to Washington), a proven record of executive experience as a governor (not as a “community organizer”), and a quietly dedicated churchgoer who apparently believes in everyone’s freedom of religion including Catholics.”

Obama’s attacks on Bain, and on Romney in general, have backfired badly. He’s managed to alienate his own base, elected officials of his own party, and an entire category of potential donors. A political misstep of this magnitude hasn’t occured in a very long time.

    Roy, I hope you’re right.

There are some on the left who truly hate capitalism and what it stands for. The hope is that most of them are in the Obama administration. If a large segment of the voting public believed that way his ads would work.

I am not heartened with the things I am learning about what our kids are being taught about capitalism, though; not just on the university level, either.

Where did the #occupy people get their ideas?
