Democrats to Make Gay Marriage Part of DNC Platform

The Democrat party leadership has gone full retard and will be launching itself off the nearest cliff this November.

According to Politico, the DNC will include the support of gay marriage in its platform to be unveiled at its convention in early September. The Platform Drafting Committee approved the language at a meeting in Minneapolis but it won’t be official until an August 10 meeting in Detroit. From there, it will be promoted at the DNC Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. A source at the Minneapolis meeting said that they think the inclusion of gay marriage into the platform is “not controversial”.

For those of you keeping track, the number of states where elections have resulted in the legalization of gay marriage is currently a big, fat zero. The number of states where gay marriage is banned is thirty. In fact, in those elections, gay marriage has not only failed, it has failed by wide margins. North Carolina, where the DNC is struggling to hold its convention, voted to ban gay marriage by a margin of greater than 20%.

To compound the “what the hell are they thinking” question, there are also rumors that Elizabeth “Princess Wanamakabucks” Warren will be the keynote address at that convention, where she will no doubt push the “you didn’t build that” meme. Considering that Obama had to cut a commercial to try and stem the self-imposed bleeding his statement made, it’s possible that one side will be running from the other and the center of the floor will be as empty as a junior high school dance.

So, just what the hell are the democrats thinking by adopting not just a losing position, but a very unpopular and divisive losing position?

From a strictly moralist perspective, if they believe their stand is right they can and should adopt it regardless of the political cost. I don’t agree with them, but if they have the heart to stand up for it, good on them.

From a strictly political perspective, this platform is a death sentence for every democrat running for office outside of any district or state not firmly in democrat hands by a margin of 10% or more.

This move signals that the DNC leadership knows that the rest of the election is now almost a foregone conclusion, and it’s going to be a disaster for them. Obama has spent the last three months and most of his cash trying to define Romney and destroy his popularity and the best he has managed to do is appear to trail closely. The DNC leadership knows that within weeks Romney will unleash advertising buys highlighting Romney’s positive message and Obama’s failures that will make Obama shrivel like a snail on a salt flat. Worse for democrats, polling shows that instead of picking up seats in the Senate and House, democrats will likely lose the Senate and suffer more losses in the House. The best the DNC can hope for is to strip off the moderate disguise and lurch to the left as a beacon of socialism and hedonism to shore up their flagging base for what they see as coming tsunami of electoral failures.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and predict that it will be a landslide for Romney similar to when Ronaldo Maximus was elected over the peanut farmer.

Obama is toast and he knows it, they are gambling and trying to throw mud on the wall and see if it sticks.

He/They are desperate and are willing to attempt to try to appeal to any special interest groups for help.

There will be a lot of hot air and bluster and negative ads by the socialist party, however, they don’t have anything positive that they can claim.

We are going to see a swing to the right and conservatism.

The only thing that worries me is the fact that people seem to have gotten stupider by the day since the Reagan vs Carter days. I don’t think there was such an entitlement mentality back then, either.

If anyone could tell me, I’d appreciate knowing something, since I was too young in 1980 to know what was going on: By July – Aug of 1980, how obvious was it that Reagan was going to beat Carter? I’m just curious, because – not that I want to give the polls too much credit – it seems like Romney should be a lot further ahead of Obama by now just based on how much Obama blows. Or is it just a matter of more votes being bought with the welfare system nowadays?

    Gay movement=revolution=Democratic Party=Democratic Socialists of America in America’s US Congress(CPC). Wake-up America.

At the turn of the century (1900’s), in the USA, radical progressivism was evolving as a cult with its followers mostly in academe and entertainment sectors of America’s culture. Two major urban areas at that time were experiencing LGBT activism – New York and Los Angeles. In New York, LGBT activists united with far left professors, and social organizers in order to move their agenda’s forward. Individual LGBT’s in New York were swept up in this effort, joining and uniting their like minded fringe LGBT’ers into a united front. Since they were in Higher educations Liberal Arts departments around New York, this fed into both stage and an infant celluloid industry out in both New York and later Los Angeles.

One prominent LGBT activist uniting all these diverse forces was Vito Russo (he contracted HIV/AIDS in 1985, passing away in 1990). He created print and film advocating and expanding LGBT philosophy to both East and West coast academic and entertainment meccas. Since LGBT was a fringe activist movement in the 1900’s, and ultra progressivism was a marxist/leninist radical movement, the tendency for these two nascent forces to unite was irresistable. Therefore, out of two fringe movements of the 1900’s, today, LGBT has morphed and consolidated into the Gay Movement-having its philosophical underpinnings as a marxist/leninist dominated social/political movement.

Milwaukee’s “The Gay People’s Union” is an academically centered LGBT organization, created around LGBT’s Progressivist theme, but with a softer edge. A lot of the hard line activism of New York’s and Los Angeles’ “edgy” LGBT movement was incorporated into some of its “edgyness,” discarding most of the hard line progressivism.

Today, a constellation of Hollywood, Los Angelinos and San Franciscans as well as New Yorker “Illuminati” have become apologists for “The Celluloid Closet.” This Lily Tomlin(actress) produced and executed movie in memory of Vito Russo, is LGBT’ers Bible (as is the book). Print magazines like “The Advocate” are constant reminders LBGT Movement (Gay Movement) is both a political and social cancer America has allowed to spread throughout every level of her political and societal livelyhood.

Gay Movement is a radical leftist, marxist/leninist movement. The Democratic Party is a leftist, marxist/leninist movement. The President is a marxist/leninist apologist (as was Marshall Davis, Obama’s father). Wake-up America. Amen.

Meshuggaboy: It depends on what polls you were looking at. Most of the polls had Reagan and Carter at a dead heat until the election, so it was a major suprise to democrats to find themselves beaten like baby fur seals. A few outliers had Reagan stomping Carter but they were dismissed by the MSM at the time. I think the democratic leadership is more frightened now because Romney is generally where Obama was at this time in 2008 and he hasn’t even begun his major campaign promotions.

Pollsters predicted a close election right up to the election. News media acted shocked that it was a landslide for Reagan.

After the election the pollsters acted like they knew it was going to be a overwhelming vote for Reagan.

Shortly before the inaugural Iran announced they were releasing they US Embassy hostages.

The liberal press continued to talk gloom and doom despite Reagan’s popular improvements to the economy.

Nothing was ever good enough to them.

  6. Jim22 says:

You know if this actually comes to pass it is not the way to win the undecided. Those on the left and those on the right have already made their decisions. It’s those in the middle who may not have. They are the voters, as the ‘pundits’ say, decide Presidential elections.

Americans in the middle, even though they may not be well informed, will eventually make up their minds. I think, historically, that they have responded to reasonable non- controversial arguments. This is not non-controversial.

Whether you are straight or not you need to make a living. If Obama doesn’t show everyone how things will get better during his second term he is toast.

The traditionally Democratic minorities have shown themselves to be considering a change in administration in 2012.

Obama has stacked the DNC with far-left idealogues. They have shown themselves to be unable to identify reality. He is playing to them, not the middle.

If you get a chance read President Reagan’s diary.
    It’s a great read!

Grasping at all of the outlying groups they can find, eh? Definitely a sign of weakness and panic. I don’t want to be too hasty in celebrating though. This just thrust a phrase into my head, that I hadn’t seen or heard in quite some time:

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF STUPID PEOPLE IN LARGE GROUPS.

Especially, when they vote 3 times, each and blindly follow a man and a party who wouldn’t know a moral compass if it were lodged in their collective arse, sideways..

Thanks for the info guys. I will gladly donate to the White House Fumigation Fund next January after this lump of shit gets his ass handed to him in a few months.
