Boycott Government Motors
June 1, 2009
The GM bailout is a payoff for a Democratic supermajority. It is was a reward to a relatively few union supporters at the expense of the rest of the nation.
GM will become a permanently subsidized quasi-government entity that serves as a vehicle for government influence throughout American industry.
GM will be used to promote the leftist labor and environmental agenda.
Now that GM is a ward of the state, like Amtrak, it will be a permanent ward of the state subsidized by taxpayers forever more.
“Reforms” at GM will be forced on non-UAW southern US auto makers, such as Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, and Honda who will be damaged in the same way GM was.
The marketing of GM’s “little green cars” will come with a government imposed artificial increase in gasoline prices in an attempt to drive demand for smaller cars.
GM must be crushed. Do not buy GM automobiles. Do not buy GM parts. Do not have maintenance performed at GM facilities.
Destroying Government Motors will create America jobs by creating opportunity for private businesses who serve the consumer rather than the government.
Don’t be fooled by the logo you have known for years. That company is dead and gone. It has been replaced by a zombie in disguise. It is creeping socialism that is contrary to everything America is and has always been. Buying GM is un-American.

In case you doubt the veracity of what I have written above, consider the worlds of that fat piece of shit Michael Moore in his latest effuse.
Wake up America. These cocksuckers are serious.

Having been a Chevrolet/GMC buyer all of my life, my next vehicle will be a Ford, Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, Honda or anything else made by someone not called Government Motors or Fiat. As for Michael Moore, his head is so far up his ass, he can see sunshine through his nostrils.

Goodbye to the internal combustion engine? That makes sense. It’s the most efficient type of power ever invented. Michael Moore is so fucking stupid. I mean he’s a black hole of stupidity. His stupidity is so dense that reason cannot escape. Stupid collapsed on itself. Red-hot stupid. Blazing hot mid-day sun on Mercury stupid. Damn that is one stupid mother fucker.

I told my wife not to by that goddamn Jeep Commander. Now I will have to wait in line at the DMV to get a new muffler….

Car-sharing business model. The Chairman and CEO of Zipcar, Scott Griffith, was interviewed on CNBC this morning. They buy a fleet of cars and loan them out to their members on an hourly rate. A revealing QnA: The company has never purchased a GM or Chrysler car. Out of the 300,000 users that they survey every six months they have never had a request for a GM product.
The interview can be found on cnbc’s website. http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=1139125735&play=1
Around the 4:30 mark in the tape.

Listening to NPR yesterday (yes, a conservative can listen to NPR, you just have to have your mental strainer on “high”), and there was a money quote that I’ll paraphrase.
When will US citizens see a return on their “investment” in GM? If the car business turns around very soon and GM becomes profitable, the answer is several years. If the car business failes to turn around or GM remains in the doldrums, then US citizens stand to lose $35 billion.
Based on what I’m seeing, I think that $35 billion is bye bye.

So, let me see if I understand this correctly. When Ford pays taxes to the US, they are in fact giving money in some fashion to their competitor, GM. Even the mafia doesn’t have rackets like the US government.
At this rate, in four years the US will be unrecognizable and well on its way to becoming a banana republic.

When Ford negotiates with the UAW for labor contracts, they negotiate with the a co-owner of GM and Chrysler. They expect the labor contract to be enforced by the owner of their biggest competitor and partner with their Union.

My Father sold Pontiacs throughout most of my childhood. He sells GM now. The old S-10 I’m driving right now will be the last GM product I ever own. My Chrysler LHS was the last Chrysler product I will ever own.
Taking this one step further I will never purchase a Union Made anything if I can possibly help it, nor will I purchase services provided by any Union workforce.

I have driven Ford F-150s exclusively since 1981. Seven in a row.
Last night I test drove a Toyota Tundra. I know Ford didn’t get a bailout, but I am sorry. They are still a shop manned by the UAW thugocracy. I cannot support that.

I’ll go with that RD. I was proud that Ford had the balls to set themselves apart, but knowing that the money I would spend on their product would help support Communism I just can’t stomach it.
The Ford Econoline Van is my favorite vehicle of all time, especially when properly equipped. There are a lot of tactical situations it serves nicely. If I ever have another one it will be used and I will rebuild it with parts from overseas.
Toyota makes awesome vehicles. So does Nissan and Hyundai.

Not only that, Tundras are built in Princeton, Indiana and San Antonio, Texas by Americans who haven’t sold their souls to the UAW.

Now that’s what I’m talkin’ ’bout.
We test drove a KIA minivan. I was blown away. Compared to our Ford, it has better handling, better brakes, better engine, better tranny, stuffed with standard items that cost extra on the Ford, better steering, and it cost about 60% of what a stripped-down Ford cost.
No brainer. My Pop will always buy American. He was 10 when WWII broke out. He doesn’t forget, and that’s fine. But I’m also an American, and as such, I will use my freedom (what’s left of it) to buy whatever the hell suits me. When Detroit builds something I want, I’ll be happy to buy it from them.
And the Econoline: Man, if we could have a cold one together, I could tell you some shit that would turn you green, thanks to that lovely invention known as the Ford Econoline.

This will be a fake bankrupty where investors get shafted, union contracts remain intact, and GM remains uncompetitive. That’s why ***** will to steer it.
My prediction is GM will reorganize as a producer of subsidized substandard cars for welfare recipients. No one with money would buy their shit. All the good engineers will leave.
Hitler had Volkswagon, Obama will have GM.

This should be full-blown article, but I’m running out of time and RD is likely getting it down: Rasmussen reports that in a survey for GM, less than half of current GM owners would consider buying another GM vehicle.
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/business/auto_industry/just_42_of_gm_owners_likely_to_buy_gm_again
Among the adult population at large, about 16% would consider it. That’s a pretty big kick in the nuts to Government Moters.
