It’s happening in Philadelphia, too.

I hope MY people can vote without being harassed or intimidated.

The shenanigans in Philadelphia (mentioned above):

This picture, taken outside a Philadelphia polling site, calls to mind the scene four years ago, where two members of the New Black Panther Party were accused of trying to intimidate voters.

The group says it plans to send out members to monitor the vote today, as it did four years ago.

Stay tuned to Fox News throughout Election Day for reports on possible instances of voter fraud or problems at polling places around the nation.

I don’t always worry about riots, but when I do, I am loaded for bear.

    Stay armed my friends.

    Hahahaha!

I’ll be watching, eagerly awaiting the hordes of angry Obama supporters outside my door. Oh wait, I live in farm country now. Nevermind.

I’ll be drinking scotch & hosting: “The Most-Spectacular, First Time Ever, Real Revo Election Night Chat”.

Now this is what I like to read…

Call them “Seal Team November 6.” Special operations veterans, including former Navy Seals, Delta Force will be called back into action on Election Day to make certain there’s no voter intimidation at the polls.

    Philadelphia is a prime target.

Former Navy Captain Benjamin Brink is leading the operation. “The nation saw the video of members of the Black Panthers in Philadelphia intimidating people trying to vote in 2008,” Brink told me when I interviewed him during my radio show on IQ 106.9. “We are going to try and make certain that nothing like that happens this year.”

Brink claims to have over a hundred former Army Rangers, Navy Seal, Delta Force, Green Berets and others who have volunteered for duty. The idea of Navy Seals and Black Panthers getting into it at a Philly polling site gives a whole new incentive for casting a ballot. “Our guys aren’t easily intimidated,” adds Brink.

Don’t let the bravado fool you. The mission, according to the Captain, is to observe and report, not to engage. “We are going to watch for intimidation, videotape it, if possible, and report it to the proper authorities.”

Benjamin Brink lives in the St. Louis area. He served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. It was the video of the Black Panthers and the battle over voter ID laws that inspired him to start his clean election movement called “Get Out the Vet.” The group also works to make certain those serving overseas get ballots and that those ballots are counted. “There are men and women fighting right now so that we have the right to vote in free and fair elections,” reminds Brink. “We are just doing our part to make certain democracy works the way it is supposed to.”

Although Philadelphia will get special attention, the special-ops veterans will also be overseeing polling sites in cities like Cleveland, Miami and Las Vegas—big cities in swing states that have had a history of reports of voter intimidation.

But isn’t sending big, strapping, steely-eyed men with buzz cuts and special-ops tattoos, at the very least, visually hypocritical? Don’t these guards against voter intimidation intimidate people themselves? “That is not our purpose,” assures Brink. “Voters showing up to the polls probably won’t even notice they are there. These men are trained to be ghosts.”

One of the things that concerns me most of all and something I’ve NEVER ever concerned myself with or feared..
My BiL is a Photog for a Chicago TV station. He and the SiL live in Chicago Heights in my old house. The one I fled from to move to Indiana because I wasn’t going to raise my daughters in that cesspool..
If Romney wins I am honestly and legitimately concerned about the next few days in respect to the behavior of the inmates of the state of Illinois. They have my 2 year old nephew and my 3 week old niece there.. And he’s going to be out for the duration leaving the SiL home alone with the kids. I have to seriously consider being on guard and possibly driving over and dragging them to our house to weather the storm if there is one.
How f-ed up is that? That I have to worry that the masses will make good on their threats to riot.
I hate how paranoid the last few years have made me feel and how the media has fed into this frenzy.. How is this a “Healed” or “united” Nation when something which should be as simple or routine as an Election is cause to watch for escalated violence against innocent citizens.
Quite simply.. I hate what this has become.

The idea of some of our best & brightest wearing out those black panther punks gives me a huge smile.

I wish I could be there with them.

  11. notamobster says:

    Well said, Rock.

  12. Locke n Load says:

    Wow. I mean just, wow.
Finally found an Obama supporter, damn.
Woman in Kelly Beans out here in western NE just went nuclear nutzo when I happened to mention the NBP was already out in Philly and Cleveland.

Her response? Maniacal derisive laughter followed by ‘those republicans are MASTERS of lying, nobody better, I don’t believe it for a minute and you’re a fool if you do!!”

But ma’am, they’re on film in multiple locations just like 2008…

“I don’t believe it, not a chance! all lies!”

But ma’am…on film? Are you saying they’re republican plants??

“absolutely! I wouldn’t put it past them for a minute!”

Reallly….? You think the Republicans would PAY the NBP to go inteimidate their own voters?

“Hell yes! they lie constantly, best at it! I bet the people on film are actors!! you Republicans are so stupid!”

    Thank you ma’am, lol.
Ok then, have a nice day

No black panthers here in middle Tennessee. Just an elderly women collecting canned food for the poor.

  14. Locke n Load says:

Ahhh nuts, I have to go face that crazy lady again, lol. She makes me nervous, strikes me as unstable. Might be a good time to have a hidden cam, roflmao.

Rock, make those plans with SiL for bugout, just in case. Chicago Heights is a f**ked up neighborhood capable of anything.

I don’t know how old you are but if you’re at least 46 you might remember Maywood burning… Ford Heights is easily worse than Maywood back then

  15. Rockheim says:

Only 41.. Bought the house from my Dad who built it.. Then sold it to the BiL who is going to stay there until his kids are school age then he’s selling out and getting out. Normandy Village.. Still one of the few decent places to live in the Heights.. But you are surrounded there.
As a night shift Field Engineer for a cell company I work the south side of Chicago. I know where and how to be careful. I have cells in Ford Heights, Chi Heights, Altgeld Gardens, Pullman, Roseland, Riverdale, Dolton.. the lot. I grew up on the south side. But I never had to worry about anyone but myself. Now.. Family.. Kids.. And now nephew’s and nieces.. And a SiL who led a sheltered N. Side life who thinks there’s nothing to worry about..
I hate sounding like a paranoid loon but I’m gassed up, full generator, several gas cans loaded, food and water for a couple weeks.. I’m ready for a small emergency.. And even with that I feel a little crazy sometimes.
But I have the extra car seats loaded into the Expedition.. Just in case.. And I’ll be watching and waiting.. As I said. I hate that things have come to such a point that even normal people have to start thinking this way.
