   Lightfoot wrote a song for himself with this one. It’s one of those songs that no one else can sing – almost.

   A Texan named Brian Burns covered it well and added a powerful ending to it. It’s really a surprise. It makes a long song even longer and better in my humble opinion.

   This song was one of the main reasons I learned to play guitar.

   I also thought I could woo a girl by singing “If You Could Read My Mind”. Yeah, I was that dumb.
