Doesn’t that make a man impotent?
CNN:
ShareMy cancer was caught very early,” Petraeus, 56, said in remarks released by his office. “I’ve had two PSA tests since completing treatment five months ago, and they’ve both been very positive. Surgery to remove the prostate was not an option due to plates/screws that were used to repair my pelvis after it was fractured in a parachuting accident.”

I don’t know but an impotent man could still have a love affair.
Yeah, but that wouldn’t include ‘sex under the desk’ as he referenced in his emails to her.
I read about the FBI investigation into his affair. She broke it off and he sent her thousands of emails… He was in love and heart-broken.
The feds were worried that he could be a security risk. Yet, they waited til after the election to “allow him to step down”. hmmm…

So his prostate gland is still in tact and his hormones levels should allow normal sex.
Not necessarily. If they do a prostatectomy it can result in nerve damage and often does. An alternative is to “seed” the prostate with radiation without nerve damage.
