Forbes thinks that Grupo Bimbo from Mexico could take over the Hostess company.
Auto-start video below the fold.
I just heard a judge has ordered Hostess and the unions back into mediation.
How the hell can a judge order a failing company NOT to go out of business?
I would assume that he is denying their bankruptcy proceedings.
And thanks to LnL for introducing me to that site.
Most of it is over my head, but I’m trying to grasp all this money stuff.
Actually that makes sense. If they can get the union to be reasonable, then hostess wouldn’t have to get out. If not, they tried and it failed. Time to proceed with liquidation. I’m thinking that there are probably 16-17 thousand employees out there willing to abandon the union to keep a job. It’s not like they have marketable skills. “Ok, so you can squirt icing inside cake….”
Just read the rest of that. Eyes bleeding.
