We have descended into utter madness. I think our hopes of living in a free, civilized society are irretrievably lost.

WTF? I have seen starving people behave in a more civilized manner with food distribution.
What could possibly be worth battling over?
Look at 1:10! They are actually ripping product from the hands of other shoppers!
Damn. They are like crazed animals.
I did Black Friday at Wal-Mart last year and, though it was that crowded, the folks were far more civilized. This year, I did it all online.
They’re fighting over cheap burner phones. It’s absolutely befuddling to me that people would act this way.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve witnessed human nature many times. I have a full understanding of what people do when they panic, but this isn’t a panic-induced frenzy. This is people fighting over a discounted, discount phone.
You can get them free from Bronco Bama.
I worked the black Black Friday at a ghetto Wal-Mart and this is how people behaved. Luckily my shift ended at 0700.
This is a prime example of why I am a misanthrope.
I have never worked retail and I have never been price sensitive enough to chase discount events so I have never seen anything like this except on video.
I have, however, slopped the hogs. It is a lot like this.
I hope that spaceship shows up soon to pick me up.
Me too TN. If it’s coming before 2016 let it come now.
I find great deals online. No Gas. No Idiots. No Stress. Free Shipping.
I’ve never worked retail either. I was there as a cop.
I worked at a Hardee’s and a Subway as a kid. Does that count?
What would lighting a few firecrackers in the crowd cause?
The fiscal collapse can’t come soon enough. After seeing this shameful behavior, I’m dead serious when I say that.
I feel that way more, with each passing day, Bman.
It’s just unfreakingbelievable to me that people act this way over a $10 toaster. Just watching that shoit gives me anxiety and I start getting pissed off. It makes me hate people and gives me a feeling of hopelessness towards mankind. I won’t comply with this shit.
Its the same feeding frenzy mentality one see at festivals, concerts, celebrity and sporting events, if some ball, hat or tee-shirt is tossed into the crowd.
Thats why I gave up going to the sales since my teens, its simply not worth mixing with Fn savages to save a few bucks.
That said, whats to stop the stores asking people to form lines for special items and avoid this kind of hysteria?
Like many, we shop online where we can compare and make better purchases instead of on the spot impluse in a store.
every holiday is commercialized to the point where it’s not a “holiday” anymore.
sorry folks, you are all getting homemade cookies or home sewn items for Christmas
Sweet!
it happened several places I’ve seen better behaved hogs at a feed trough.
