Terrorist Attack Whitewashed In Arizona

From the PJ Tatler:

Iraqi refugee arrested for bombing Arizona Social Security office with IED, media silence ensues

The typically quiet town of Casa Grande, Arizona, was rocked by an explosion at the local Social Security Administration office early Friday morning of what appears to an improvised explosive device (IED). No one was hurt in the explosion, which occurred shortly before the office was scheduled to open. The explosion was reportedly heard and felt all over the area.

While the little town of Casa Grande and the nearby Phoenix area are talking about the incident, virtually no one else is. In fact, the only reason I was following the story is because I’m presently in the area and saw the initial reports on the explosion and continued to look into it .

Within 90 minutes of the explosion, police had a suspect in custody. But you wouldn’t know it from reading the establishment media reports this past weekend. One reason might be that the suspect is 47-year-old Abdullatif Aldosary of Coolidge, AZ, an Iraqi refugee.

UPDATED (8:25p EDT): I just spoke again with my contact in the FBI Phoenix field office (who is not authorized to speak on behalf of the FBI office). This contact said that it is highly unlikely that Aldosary will be charged with any terrorism offense. While they are internally treating it like a domestic terrorism investigation, including looking at if he had any help constructing the explosive device, the FBI is saying very little and and will prosecute this as a simple explosives and arson case because of “the political sensitivities involved.”

UPDATE #2: Please note that the Daily Kos was first out of the gate, blaming the bombing on “right-wing extremism”

huh. reading the comments there are oodles of people who LIVE IN AZ who have no idea this is going on.

are you aware of the amped up bomb threats to federal buildings in WA, NB and TN ? (all this costs $$$) you don’t hear anything about THAT, either

no wonder gold and gun sales are astronomical-

This man-caused disaster is obviously one man’s response to a youtube video.

I’m certain we’ll hear reports and condemnation in 3, 2, 1…. Ha! I’m not surprised in the least that Barry’s sending this story straight down the memory hole.

“”I’m positive in my heart and my soul he had nothing to do with this,” said Swannee Welsh

Welsh believes her neighbor, Abdul Latif Aldosary is being unfairly targeted. She says he’s a refugee from Iraq.

“I’ve never seen him with a match even, he doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, he doesn’t move, he doesn’t go to the mosque,” said Welsh.”

I”m so freaking sick of TOOLS (progressives and people too stuipd who enable it)in our bizarro world.

Doesn’t move? What the hell does that mean, exactly?

No beard, and I’ve never seen him with a bomb vest. It obviously wasn’t him.

  5. FreedomFighter says:

Not a conspiracy person, but this seems coordinated to some extent. Or it could be the act of a single person. Who knows…

However…why do this, if you’re not insane?

The Boy that Cried Wolf scenario, kinda? Check local officials’ abilities to react at the local and state level to judge their preparedness, and the set about bogging down LEO’s in a multitudes of threats and then go after something else?

“Another government official, who asked not to be identified, said just because an application is denied or on hold – because of the part of immigration law dealing with terrorism-related activity – doesn’t mean that person is a terrorist.

The official stressed, “Terrorism-related inadmissibility grounds (TRIG) in immigration law are broad in scope and they don’t always differentiate between armed groups and the purpose of their activities. So they include activities that we wouldn’t commonly consider to be ‘terrorism,’ such as activities that were performed under duress. They also don’t have an exception for ‘freedom fighters,’ such as a resistance group that is fighting a dictatorial regime.”

Aldosary is charged with maliciously damaging federal property by means of explosives and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A federal judge in Phoenix has set a preliminary hearing for Tuesday morning.”

wow. I feel safe, don’t you?
