Yep. I particularly like the part about human violence.

Has our collective intellect reduced the rate of violence? When you look at the most violent segments of humanity, they do tend to be the least intelligent.

Maybe this burgeoning call for an end to violence, is unlocked by intellect – or perhaps [more likely] the intellectual growth has lead to comfort which in-turn causes the non-violent to secure & reinforce their un-natural place at the top of the food chain.

This second theory would seem more likely, because those intellectuals often-times use the brute force of other men to defend their (personally) untenable position atop the food chain.

By his looks, voice, and manner I nearly thought that this video was of an aged Sam Waterston (prosecutor character from Law & Order TV show) revealing a hidden life as a conservative or Libertarian. Except in clarity of thinking, which I suspect because Waterston is a Hollywood actor and likely a leftist, Payne and Waterston could be brothers.

Rich – Waterston is a liberal. He hawks that rag The Nation magazine on tv.
