What does a gun ban paradise look like?

We only need visit a jurisdiction with one of the toughest gun bans in America to find out.

There were 192 shootings in Chicago throughout the month of November – a 49 percent increase from a year earlier – according to police records obtained by the Chicago Tribune.

In November of 2011, Chicago recorded 129 shootings compared to the 192 shootings this November. Police records also reveal that shootings increased more than 11 percent in the first 11 months of 2012 compared with a year earlier.

Total homicides in Chicago rose to 480 for the first eleven months of 2012; a 21 percent increase from last year. On November 30, 2012, there were four fatal shootings within the city. These murders brought the homicide total to 38 for the month, just above the 37 recorded in November of last year.

    But, but Bush…but, but fairness….but, but racist….but, but war on women…but, but rich capitalists. None of the talking points of the Demoncrat party can address the problem of more shootings and homicides by gun in locales with the toughest handgun ban laws. They don’t have an answer. That is because guns don’t kill people, people kill people. When law abiding citizens are unarmed the lawless take advantage of that fact.

    I was reading an article the other day about a lawmaker in Chicago who wants to make it illegal to feed pigeons. (it already is) this is their answer to the problems in Shitcago.

    Homicides by cause: Gunshot (2,254) Non-Gunshot (501).
    One 4 block by 9 block community has had 198 homicides. http://homicides.redeyechicago.com/neighborhood/austin/
    Why don’t the reporters want to camp out in Austin, IL and broadcast these tragedies?
