Benghazi Report is Damning

buckstops

Hillary Clinton requested increased security and was denied it. Who has the authority to deny the Secretary of State anything? The POTUS and no one else.

Much of the criticism focused on U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s comments five days after the Sept. 11 attack that the violence was a “spontaneous” result of protests against an anti-Islam film. She later backtracked, saying her comments were based on the most current information provided by the intelligence community.

Although the motive for the attack remains unclear, the report released Tuesday confirms what quickly became evident — that the attack was the coordinated work of heavily armed terrorists.

But in many ways, the security failures were of even greater concern.

Despite clear and present threats, the review board found the security posture at the Benghazi consulate was “short-term, transitory” and “relatively inexperienced” — and ultimately “inadequate.”

It was total failure followed by constant lies to protect Obama’s reelection campaign. Congratulations America. You fell for it.

Democrats would rather talk gun control than Benghazi.

Yep. No one but the POTUS. Is it a mere coincidence that the report came out during a time when it would be drowned in the millieu of the gun control fracas? That this cynical administration would take advantage of a tragedy for their own benefit? Not a chance.

it’s like Benghazi, the total collapse of Greece, Syria, are not even happening –
