This is interesting because it not only provides the total number of violent crimes but also breaks it down to the number of crimes per 100,000 citizens. That’s a better comparison.
The left wants to pick and choose which data they use to support their wrong-headedness. If you use the total number of crimes they will say something like, “But the US has more people. That skews the results.”
Could it be that the US has fewer violent crimes because of the number of citizens who are armed for their protection? Of course.
