Hypocrites. These cretins promote a fantasy world of violence that glorifies killing and then blame those of us actually engaging in responsible gun ownership and and firearm sports.
They don’t care. They know that with their wealth and influence they will always have access to whatever they want. They don’t see gun control as a restraint on their liberties… just yours.
There’s going to be a mix here of hypocrites, stupid, and denial. Of course, the defense will be that viewers know movies are fake, and do not influence behavior. Violent conflict resolution in movies does not displace rational negotiation and problem solving outside the cinema.
Advertisers would not exist if media didn’t influence behavior.
I call on all these celebrities to disarm their body guards at their homes, their children’s schools, and their workplaces. I also call for them to give up their personal concealed weapons! Are you listening Feinstein and Reid?!
