Breaking: School Shooting in Northern California

Taft High School in Taft, CA. A student brought a shotgun to school and shot one student. He tried to shoot another but missed. The teacher and a school administrator talked the 16 year-old shooter into putting the shotgun down.

The student that was shot was helicoptered to the hospital where he is in critical but stable condition. The teacher was wounded with one pellet wound and refused treatment.

The shooter was seen bringing the shotgun onto campus and 911 was called immediately. The police arrived within sixty seconds.

There is normally a Taft police officer assigned to the school.

    More specifically one killed and 5 wounded in an event the media is calling “Wednesday”..

    The police are NOT required to save lives…as their UNION continues to point out and the force acts on.
