Arizona’s Republican Governor Jan Brewer Takes State From $3 Billion Deficit To $800 Million Surplus

I don’t know if the surplus is $450 million or $800 million but she’s taking the state in the right direction.

From Libertarian Republican:

The governor said the state has a $450 million budget surplus this fiscal year, but details won’t be released until later this week.

Editor’s comment – Hmmn? A $450 million budget surplus. You’d think that’d make huge headline stories statewide in AZ, and even warrant some national news coverage from CNN, HuffPo, Yahoo News, Daily Beast, certainly NBC national would pick it up. But you’d be wrong. Just some crickets chirping beneath the cactus out there in the dry sands of the Arizona desert.”

As a PC, & a Citizen in AZ., I can tell you that much of the Positive news goes to “th’ Corn Field”. We have th’ “arizona republic” newspaper…which leans so far to th’ left it’s about to fall over…

I believe Republican Iowa Governor Branstad announced yesterday a $800 million surplus with a forecast to be $1 billion in a few months.
