A Revotastic Television Recommendation

I’ve just watched a pretty good series on Netflix. It’s a British show called Ultimate Force. It’s a story about the exploits of a fictional SAS troop. It’s really quite entertaining.

I must say that for a television show, it is ultra-violent. Especially, for Brits. They leave out the PC crap that handicaps British society until the 3rd or 4th season and even then, it only shows up once or twice.

(video NSFW – also doesn’t show action but there is no trailer)

Here’s what I’ve learned from watching this show:

1) All Americans have a southern accent and no minorities serve in our special forces.
2) Apparently, sunrise for the SAS means “sometime after McDonald’s stops selling breakfast”.
3) The SAS really enjoy killing people.

If you are a fan of The Unit, you’ll like this show. It has some ferocious firefights in a few episodes.

Already have that one in my queue.
Haven’t gotten around to watching though.

I just spent 3 days watching it while the wife was sick. I had to sleep on the couch to avoid the flu, so I stayed up nights watching this show. Good times.

This one’s on youtube. It’s James Bond good:

I haven’t seen season two yet, but I will find a way.

I saw the whole series last year on HULU. Great show. Just wait until they bring in the female comando. I mean, hey, a woman like that…. Hell, I’m in lust.. Great show, to bad it only had 3 seasons.

I saw it on Hulu too, but couldn’t watch it past the 3rd season.

The first season was pretty durned good and it degraded from there, IMO. The second wasn’t that bad either.

Pretty much don’t bother with anything after the gunfight on the ship.

Edit: Meant to say saw it on Netflix, not Hulu!

To add: A Brit series that looks really good on HULU (not Netflix) is called “In the line of fire”, about some British cops.

Yeah, it did really degrade after the French spec ops / ship episode, but it was still worth the watch.
