The interviewer asks him why outlawing ‘Assault Weapons’ is a big deal since so few are used for murder. He is at a loss.
He then tries to explain what is in the mind of a madman even though the history dhows something else. He says mad shooters will be drawn to places with armed guards. Fool. Records show that attempts at mass murder happen in unguarded places.

By the way, I have a second grader and I gave him a rifle for Christmas. The threat to him posed by a school shooter doesn’t even break the top 50 worries I have for him in this world.

Two take-aways I have from the anti-gun march in DC today:
1) That the plan is to make this about the evil NRA, their continous paying of of congressmen and their lack of support by the people. The plan is not that guns are the enemy but the unreasonable NRA. The number of professionally printed “Stop the NRA” signs was disturbing.
2) This scary quote: “James Agenbroad, 78, of Garrett Park, Md., carried a handwritten sign on cardboard that read “Repeal the 2nd Amendment.” He called it the only way to stop mass killings because he thinks the Supreme Court will strike down any other restrictions on guns.”
Of course, this moron then went on to say “You can repeal it,” he said. “We repealed prohibition.” With no historic knowledge that prohibition was a classic nanny over-reach by the government to stop that “evil alcohol” from causing problems of violence, homelessness, etc. and needed to be repealed.
