The gun control has been working in my country, Poland, when under Russian regime.
After WWII , Russian government declared confiscation of any arms in private possesion, otherwise life sentence or death sentence for disobeying.
In my opinion, in America gun control won’t work. Taking guns from decent, hard working citizens equals to giving criminals, gangs, and terrorists greater opportunity to attack helpless civilians.
First, stop illegal arms and people traffic, drug dealers are still active, the borders are not protected, and many safety issues are not solved. Then there won’t be a need of taking guns from people obeying ‘Law and Order’ in this beautiful country.

To be sure that you have a more-complete understanding of the situation, we have the “Right” to keep & bear arms (have & possess) in this country.
This right was enshrined in our Constitution to guarantee that the people always retained the ability to repel those who would seek to violate their rights.
The Second Amendment exists to prevent tyranny of the sort witnessed in Poland under the Nazi’s and later, the USSR. It exists to protect the individual from the state, and as a natural right of man to protect himself and provide for his own survival.
