I took my game camera to Southwest Florida and set it up in the woods behind my folks’ house. As usual, I added a can of sardines to the mix. The apex predator was late to the sardine party.

I raised 5 orphaned coons a couple summers ago, took the little critters in at 5 weeks old, bottle feeding 3 times a day. progressed to dog food, grapes, etc… they left home at about 4 months old. It was quite an experience, they were terrorizing the cats and dogs would attack in mass surrounding said cat and attacking, got some real funny videos and pics. They are very group oriented at the young age, traveling together they become more solitary as they get older. I once made the mistake of grabbing one of the males when he was about 10 weeks old and not wanting to go back in the cage, they can pivot their head almost 360 degrees and at 10 weeks bite like a bear, no stitches needed but almost.
Watching that video kind of makes you half expect to see Muskie, Vince and Deputy Dawg to show up.
I love the musical score. Big cats are awesome. They’re just as quiet as little cats and a lot more deadly.
