A woman who was driving her Smart Car has died after colliding with a motorcycle. The man who was riding the motorcycle is in serious but stable condition.
Has anyone who has seen a Smart Car on the road not wondered how it’s occupants would fare in a collision? I think that question comes to my mind every time. Now we learn that a crash with something as small as a motorcycle can be deadly.
How smart are they really?

Regardless of how strong the “Smart” car is built (and that is very questionable), they can’t repeal the laws of physics. An object with little mass colliding with an object with a lot of mass is going to have a lot of energy transfered to it. That energy gets transfered to the driver and passenger, making them Spam in a can.
The law of unintended consequences strikes again. Intended consequence of bowing to Gaia by driving a metal death trap have led to the unintended consequence of death to the tree hugger in the metal death trap. Liberal/prog/socialist/communist/greenies have jumped the shark in their attempt to get the rest of us who have a brain to join them in their unintended suicide efforts.
That’s why we need a gov’t mandate. Make everybody drive smart cars. Yea?
