“Who sent you? The Cock Brothers?”

Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA) is evidently a vulgarian without answers.

“Every industrialized country in the world takes are of its people,” McDermott replied. How, exactly is increasing my costs, rationing and reducing the quality of my care “taking care of me”?

Tell you what Congressman, I didn’t ask you to “take care of me”. In fact, I begged you not to take care me. But you just can’t leave me alone.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” – C. S. Lewis

The shitty liberals in Seattle have been re-electing McDermott for 40 years. There are a lot of stupid people who don’t consider the destabilizing effects concentrating power has.
