their strategy is not to reveal what their criteria for assassinations are until after the fact, when they have actually assassinated someone. Then they stonewall to prevent the release of any information about how the assassination was conducted.
If indeed they bother with actually formulating and abiding by any criteria at all. I’m guessing these DOJ memos were largely written for public consumption, to convince the public that they are playing by some kind of rules instead of just doing whatever they feel. Who knows if they actually follow them?
It’s like Calvinball. They make up the rules as they go along. Maybe today they decide it’s not convenient to assassinate Americans on American soil. Maybe tomorrow they wake up and change their minds. Who knows?
In any case, Obama’s all like, TTH. He’s the Decider and he decides what’s best. If he says we’re enemies of the state, who are we to say him nay?
My Dad Is A Bad Ass Mother Fucker. His job many years ago was to kill you if you where an enemy of the state. I tend to listen to him, cause well he knows things I don’t know. About how things work.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I have a former friend who refuses to accept certain facts of life about economics, weapons, greed, incentives, human nature, etc., but he is really hung up on the 4th amendment and due process. He rarely has a though on his own, so if he is thinking similarly to these Kos folks, then there are a LOT out there that are thinking this way.

Great point. I would say that thanks to their upbringing and education, they are under the illusion that no matter what, the republicans are wrong. So it really hurts when they see something like this.
